Now that Sky buys Global Destiny, is there a possibility to that GNN will be ceased it's broadcast and replace it with ANC to all Global Destiny Subscribers?
And since Global Destiny has it's own Satellite service G-Sat, Is there a possibility that SkyCable will also make business in the Satellite Industry?

I don't think ANC will be added to Destiny. What I think is in the near future, Destiny will cease to exist and all destiny subscribers will have their plan package as a SkyCable subscriber like what happened to Home Cable when all Home Cable subscribers became SkyCable Silver.

I don't think so because Destiny doesn't own G-Sat's assets so it's not included in what SkyCable bought.

Did you notice something? Who Among you have Preview Channel 99 ? Because here in San Pedro Laguna, only Channel 11 can accessed while channel 99 Blocked for no reason whatsoever. Is there a reason behind this?

While doing the usual channel flipping I happen to just keep going through the new "Reserved" channels from 86-91. Now it's already known that coming July 15th ESPN News is on channel 86, but it seems more sports are in store with GOAL TV1 and GOAL TV2!

I have been scheduled three times for Digibox installation. Each time, hindi ako sinisipot.

Three days nang sira ang schedule ko. The customer service rep has been apologizing to death about this.

Pero I don't want their apologies...gusto ko lang sumipot sila sa napagkasunduang schedule.

What should I do to make them finally install my Digibox?

amin libre ang Digibox pero nadagdagan ang bill namin ng 100 per month. Pero yun DB namin parang yung pinaka-basic lang. iba iba palang klase yun?

Sky Cable’s recent acquisition of Destiny and Uni-Cable TV is supposed to give subscribers more benefits and advantages, but complaints continue to mount about the disappointing service from the Lopez-owned firm. A common gripe among subscribers is that despite “sky high” charges, a lot of Sky Cable channels feature programs older than Mahoma himself. Signals also get interrupted at the most inconvenient time possible, like what happened during the Pacquiao-Bradley fight with pay-per-view subscribers failing to watch the main bout due to “technical problems.”

But what’s even worse is that Sky’s customer service and technical people do not know how to handle calls from distressed customers. They are slow to respond and take forever to act on complaints and requests – many coming from foreigners living in condominiums – that require technical people to inspect connections and figure out why reception continues to be bad or non-existent for days on end.

The bad experiences with Sky Cable are making subscribers switch to Cignal TV which, we’ve been told, is now the largest direct-to-home pay-TV in the country, and is set to increase its subscriber base even more with Manny Pangilinan’s recent P6- billion investment in both TV5 and Cignal TV. [/B]Subscribers of Cignal tell me they are happy with the service plus the fact that some HD channels have surround sound programming, making the viewing experience even more enjoyable.[/B]

Sky Cable definitely has to exert more effort to live up to its promise of “sky is the limit” because subscribers’ patience is not sky high when it comes to recurring unsatisfactory customer service. Otherwise, this would give wrong signals that might just make more and more people turn to Cignal.


Any comments on this Issue that SkyCable customer switch to Cignal TV because of service? Also what is Mahoma anyway?

ang gusto ko lang talaga sa skycable yung teleradyo at yung anc kasi 24 hours sila.

etong gma 7 kuripot ayaw gawing 24/7 gma news tv o maski yung dzbb ayaw nilang gawing 24/7. tapos gma news kahit di news and public affairs related kung ano-anu pinapalabas mabigyan lang ng raket yung mga talent kahit basura palabas.

I have both Sky Cable and Cignal HD attached to my TV. So far, wala naman naging problema sa SkyCable. What I dislike naman sa Cignal, sobrang labo ng ABS-CBN, Studio 23, GMA 7 and GMA News.

Mahilig pa naman akong manood ng UAAP at news sa GMA. Kaya hindi ko mapaputol ang SkyCable ko eh because of poor reception ng ABS-CBN and GMA 7.
