^ Kaya nangitim ang ipin mo ay malamang may infection sa loob nito. Pakunan mo ng peri-apical x-ray yung ipin at ipasuri mo sa dentist mo para malaman kung ano dapat gawin. Kung infected yang ipin na yan ay pwedeng kumalat yung infection sa mga ibang ipin. Kumbaga imbes na isang maitim na ipin lang ay kakalat siya papunta sa ibang ipin. Papayag ka bang madami kang maitim na ipin?

Pagtapos na ang root canal therapy ay pwedeng i- Porcelain-fused-to-metal crown yang ipin para hindi madilim ang itsura.

Kasi po i wore retainers before para bumalik sa dating lugar niya yung molar ko tapos ngayon naging sensitive na.. di pa po.. so request po ako na ipax-ray siya para makita ng mabuti?

hi to our resident dentists here. this sounds a bit crazy but i will ask you anyways. My end molar (lower left) broken and it shows nearly mga 20% na lang ng tooth. I havent see my dentist yet and i'm afraid na baka mag undergo ako ng RCT. In your own opinions do you think i need RCT? Out of the country pa pala dentist ko . It just happenend last night. or mas better to have it extracted na lang?

^ wala2003 Yes please, sa x-ray makikita kung may infection yung ipin at kakailanganin ng root canal therapy. Bakit retainer ang ginagamit sa paggalaw ng molar mo, bakit hindi braces?

hi smile warrior. just want to inquire about my case. i had root canal a week ago and that today napansin ko n medyo darkened na *** teeth.although mejo lang but still annoying, left central incisor kasi un, though na read ko from internet na ganun daw talaga pag RCT. what do you recommend po? internal bleaching(mahal ata un, magkano kaya at rurupok daw teeth )? or veneers(magkano kaya ito)...i am planning to have braces on din kc mejo crooked teeth ko as in medyo ***. anung unahin ko *** braces or whitening? i wonder na baka pag inuna ko *** whitening then nagpabrace tapos years after pag tanggal ng braces dark uli so parang sayang pera. pero kung pa brace ako medyo matatakpan un tooth pag tinanggal n *** brace dun ako pa whiten..waah.sori dami ko concerns.thanks

^ If there is enough tooth material, the tooth can be subjected to Walking Bleach technique which will essentially lighten the tooth's color. Please ask if the RCT'ed tooth will be crowned. If it will be crowned, there is no need to bleach it. Instead, you can opt to have a Porcelain-fused-to-metal crown made. A PFM crown is opaque so it can mask a discolored tooth.

If you want braces, it would be best to wait 6 months to 1 year after your RCT is finished ( this implies that the RCT was successful, hindi yung tipong may problema pa rin yung ipin kahit na ni RCT ). Also, if you want braces and the RCT'ed tooth needs to be crowned, you will need to talk to your dentist and orthodontist and ask if they would prefer to have a Temporary crown made in the meantime while you have your braces, with the final crown being made after your braces. Pwede rin naman igawa na yung final crown before your braces if you tooth really needs it. Basta dapat crown lang, huwag bridge.

Masakit ba talaga magpa-RCT? Feedback naman sa mga naka undergo na. My dentist kasi nirecommend yan naipagawa ko kasi yung isang tooth ko may abscess daw.. Di ako makadecide, takot kasi ako. usually ba, ilan yung canal sa may molars? lower part...

the RCT'ed tooth need not to be crowned.kc buo pa po ***. the thing annoying to me **** is the mejo dark color it has.hay...ano po ba *** walking bleach technique?iba pa ba un sa internal bleaching?magkano po un?at permanent na ba un o magdadarken uli after.thanks po ang laki ng tulong nyo talaga

^ Malamang pareho lang sila. Can't remember the price at the moment. Magagamit lang walking bleach technique kung medyo buo pa yung ipin. It may take more than one appointment to lighten the color of the tooth.

^ im_a_chick basta importante several days bago ka gamutin ay you are properly medicated ( iinumin mo yung irereseta sa iyo ng dentist mo). On the day of the RCT pwede ka namang lagyan ng dental anesthesia para manhid yung area kung kinakailangan. Kung patay naman yung loob ng ipin ay kahit walang anesthesia ay wala kang mararamdaman masyado.

^ dapat may gamot na ipapaimon before treatment? Baka kasi this weekend na gawin pero wala naman binigay sya na gamot. Pano kaya yun?

How would you know if patay yung loob? For sure magpapa-anesthesia ako kung sakaling matuloy na RCT ko

3rd session na ng root canal ko mayang umaga, after ng session ko daw maya, balik ak after a week..prevoius session ko parang kinuha length ng canal gano kahaba, at ilang roots, bale 2 roots sakin. parang may kung anong alambre nglalabas masok sa loob ng sirang ngipin ko, di nmn masakit, minsan my pain pro tolerable naman, question is di ba mangingitim ngipin ko since wala na sya roots? saka parang dami akong nababasang diseases caused by root canal, gaano ba katotoo to..thanks!

^ metitse mangingitim yung ipin kung matagal nang patay ang laman nito. Pwede rin tayo magrequest na kung maari ay Calcium Hydroxide based root canal sealer ang gamitin imbes na Zinc Oxide Eugenol based root canal sealer para lesser ang chance na mangitim yung ipin. Tanungin din natin kung kailangang i-crown yung ipin after RCT.

Hindi totoo na nagiging sanhi ng sari-saring sakit ang RCT. That is baseless, lalo na ngayon dahil Calcium Hydroxide based ang halos lahat ng root canal sealers na ginagamit. Not only is Calcium Hydoxide antibacterial, it is also biocompatible.

^ so far never ko pa narinig sa dentist ko yung "sealer" and "crown" after RCT, happy ako sa results kasi di na sumasakit ngipin ko kahit pukpukin ng dentist, nung 1st session masakit pag pinupukpok.hehe.,
worried lang talaga ako na mangitim siya, pano ba malalaman kung patay na ngipin?, 2 roots yung nililinis ng dentist ko for the past 2 sessions ko, considered as patay na ba ngipin pag wala ng roots connected to teeth?

hi.. do you know of any good endodontist that have those microscope faciity but does not cost so much? my current dentist noticed that my tooth that have previously been treated with root canal has a leak, and from panoramic xray one of the roots is infected. he referred me to a endo in ortigas that have the capability and facility to re treat / re root, but its so expensive. cost P 8,500 per root. maybe at least 2 roots plus crown pa.. bankrupt na ko.. ganito ba talaga presyo pag re treat? do you know other endos that dont charge as much? thanks

^ metitse depende kasi kung ano yung status ng ipin mo bago pa siya galawin. Kung madilim na itsura ng ipin mo before Root Canal Therapy, chances are it will stay that way even after RCT.

Good day Doc!

I recently went to the dentist because of a nagging tooth ache in my upper right lateral incisor. The dentist said na loose na daw yung pasta kaya she had to remove it; she put temporary filling on it and asked me to wait and observe for 2 weeks. After the procedure, sumasakit pa din kaya I went back to the same dental clinic the next day. Pina X-Ray ko na then they found out na that my aching tooth already underwent an RCT. I remembered na I did nga, 6-7 years ago. They told me to take antibiotics for 1 week and observe lang daw ulit kasi may possibility na may leak daw yung canal na naRCT. Pag hindi daw nag-improve condition ko after a week, ieextract daw yung ngipin ko.

Tanong ko lang doc kung may other options pa other than tooth extraction? Pwede bang iRCT na lang ulit yung ngipin ko? Ayaw ko pong ma-extract e. My upper left lateral incisor was just extracted a month ago because it was broken, ayaw ko na pong mawalan ng isa pang ipin. I'm saving up na din for an implant next year.

^emskiee kailangan muna makita kung madudurog na yung ipin o hinde. Kung madudurog na kasi yung ipin wala nang saysay na i-RCT ito. Gumagalaw ba yung ipin ? Baka pwede rin repeat RCT kung kinakailangan, ibig sabihin uulitin kung ano ang ginawa dati pata malinis yung loob ng ipin ... ito ay kung may problema sa loob ng ipin o may infection sa dulo ng ipin na kailangan ma drain.
