and do you have any proof that they are pirated? you know that "pirated" connotes a negative impression. i think that they are not pirated at all. being pirated is one thing, staying ang growing with the choir is another thing. thanks for pointing out that some are thomasians. it reall makes us proud that they preferred to be with the ACGC.

tama ka diyan...ollgram_12!!!! and by the way...kurashige...sorry ah...pero kasi i believe i am in the position to react!!! the ACGC did not pirate them!!! never-ever did we pirate any member!!! its upon the person's free will to join and not to join!!! besides dont you know that JOHN P was a member of the MADZ before...around 94 ba?!? bat how come hindi siya nagstay?!? so would you consider the MADZ pirating thomasians?!? i dont think so?!? these organizations...eh...open to all!!! we have to remove the idea that the UP MADZ, ACGC et.c eh open lang to the respective school!!! lahat naman pwedeng sumali!!! even i...if i want to...i can join the MADZ!!! oh by the way...kurashige...hindi section head si daphne and si john p...!!! section head of alto is i think date eh...si Ayie Oppus (a Scholastican, Marikina) but she loa-ed (leave!!!) and she was replaced by Mimi Agbay!!! basses naman eh...Chris Ong!!! kaya...mali...ang conclusion niyo!!!

ACGC hasnt been travelling much...unlike UST and UP who travels almost every year!!! ACGC last year...1999 went to GUAM just to stage concerts!!! but it was...1988 or 89...i think na huling pumunta sa EUROPE!!! they also bagged a lot of prizes there!!! i guess...we werent really given the chance to travel to EUROPE to compete...because of (can you believe...financial problems)!!! yah...as of the moment...eh may utang pa rin ang ACGC to some glee club parents...para lang matuloy ang TOUR nung summer!!! hopefully the attention that we are getting...of course can be profitable (in terms of raising funds). para makabalik ulit!!! i think the ACGC is going to SPAIN this november for another competition!!! and next year...balik ulit ng europe to compete on the EUROPEAN GRAND PRIX!!! and go on a US-TOUR!!! so i just hope guys that you get the idea that...we werent really given the chance to showcase our talents before...kaya siguro nalamangan kami ng ibang choirs!!! hayaan niyo!!! i know were far better!!! wait and see!!! we still have a mountain to climb!!!

1) The Phil Madrigals
2) UST Chorale
3) ACGC

NO DOUBT: THE PHILIPPINE MADRIGAL SINGERS

i compare ba ang UST Singers sa Madz... naguumpisa pa lang ang UST Singers and besides, lahat ng styles ng choral singing, they (THE OTHER CHOIRS) get it from the Madrigal Singers. Institution na yan. ang ibang choirs mga bago palang.

pero at least palagi ang PILIPINAS ang nasa top five pag may mga international choral competitions.

THE PHILIPPINE MADRIGAL SINGERS WON THE 1997 EUROPEAN GRAND PRIX AND NO PHILIPPINE CHOIR HAS EVER DONE IT. SILA LANG ANG FIRST ASIAN CHOIR NA NANALO. ANG UST SINGERS I THINK KASAMA SA FINALIST THE FOLLOWING YEAR 1998. NO DOUBT NA ANG PHILIPPINE MADRIGAL SINGERS ANG THE BEST CHOIR.
BEING THE RESIDENT CHOIR OF THE CCP, THEY HAVE GARNERED ALMOST ALL THE MAJOR AWARD ON INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS ABROAD.
PERO ALAM NIYO, MGA PEXERS, MAS KILALA NGA DAW ANG MADRIGAL SA EUROPE KESA DITO EH.

UST singers?
Di ko pa sila naririnig ever. Anyway, actually, if not for the Espana students' sita, puna, lait, reaksyon, dagdag, bawas to any information regarding this topic, i would never know how "good" the Espana singers are. My friend whom i regard as a very knowledgeable person regarding music, member of the blue glee club, and our former glee club moderator who was a member of the madz, really think that the singers from Espana were and are really not that good. My friend even said that their soprano singer went mad as in she went off the notes and it was very very obvious during a fest held at a UP building. And that's what you call one of the best.
