The Andre Agassi Charitable Foundation (AACF) has assembled another superstar line-up of entertainers for an unforgettable evening of music and laughter to benefit Las Vegas at-risk youth. Mary J. Blige, Celine Dion, Duran Duran, Earth, Wind & Fire and George Lopez are just a few of the stars who will take the stage Saturday, Oct. 1 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Grammy Award-winning producer, arranger and composer David Foster will return for his tenth year as musical director.

Tickets priced at $150 and $100 not including applicable service charges and taxes, go on sale Friday, July 29 at 10:00 a.m. (PST) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena box office. Je ne vous oublie pas" - Video shoot

On Friday, July 29, Celine was in Montreal to shoot the music video for "Je ne vous oublie pas". The song, written by Jacques Veneruso, is the first single from the compilation 'On ne change pas', which will be released in October 2005. The video was directed by the French director Didier Kerbra who worked with Celine on the video for "Contre Nature" from '1 Fille & 4 Types'.

CELINE SOLUTION

am i ashamed of the fact that i've had CELINE DION playing in heavy rotation in my head for two weeks? hell 2 da ****in' naw! i spent last weekend in NOVA SCOTIA and the past three days in QUEBEC... how could i NOT think of CELINE nonstop?

add to that, she's ****ing awesome. the lady can sing her friggin' *** off! the most endearing thing about her is that she's not pretentious. she's sometimes downright dorky and makes no apology for it... i dig that. being "cool" is so overrated.

on sunday, in MONTREAL, we walked up and down RUE ST. DENIS checking out the slew of used CD shops that pepper the avenue. one of the shops had a third of it's square footage dedicated to the entire career of QUEBEC'S most cherished export, from the age of 12 to present. it was the most extensive collection of CELINE memorabilia in the world.

i quizzed the shopkeeper about his favorite CELINE moment, and he confessed that his wife was the one with the CELINE obsession, not him.

as i perused the bin looking for a special CELINE remix or bonus track, it quickly dawned on me that i already had all of this stuff at home.

i met her once when she was shooting photos in the studio next door to one i was being photographed in. she was genuinely kind and lovely. anybody can fake being "cool", just throw some shades on and wear black. you can't fake being kind hearted.

Céline Dion @ Casino de Montréal

According to the Quebecer press, Céline's manager and husband, René Angelil, organized a black jack tournament at the Casino of Montreal on August 1st to raise money for the André-Delambre Fondation. At the end of tournament Céline took part in the event surprising everybody and going on the stage to perform a song. The article talks about the video-shoot of Céline's latest single in French that was shot in Montreal last Friday and it also reaveals that the French compilation will include 34 tracks!!
