This is one of my favorite threads on another bulletin board, so I might as well post it here too.

What and where are the hidden restaurants of Manila, that aren't famous, but super sarap?

If you're on tight budget, go to Pinoy Toppings sa Food Court ng SM various branches at G4 Food Choices.

    Ang dami pang kanin!

The biggest secret of Binondo area: Happy Burger. Super malasa ang mga pagkain and not as pricey like the other restaurants. Mag-ingat lang sa mandurukot na naglipana sa lugar, hehehe.

    EDIT KO POST KO:

Wala palang Pinoy Toppings sa G4. What I meant was another cheap but serves good food is Binalot.

Isa pang hindi sikat pero masarap: TROPICAL HUT HAMBURGER. Yung beef patty niya ay mas malaman pa compared sa Jollibee and McDo. Sayang lang is they dont advertise intensively. Sana mag-endorse sila using a popular child star.

Hungry Hippo burgers and sandwiches! First branch na nakainan ko nito is yung sa Shell gas station sa SLEX, yung lumang shell pa yun, wala pa yung mga Jollibee, Starbucks ek-ek sa paligid. Tapos the store has no name pa during that time kaya people often refer to them as "yung burger sa shell select" (kase katabi sila ng select)

Anyways, nung nag-renovate na yung Gas Station tinanggal na nila yung store dun, fortunately for me eh nag-open sila ng branch sa hi-way malapit sa 'min . There's also a branch at one of the gas stations sa NLEX and meron din sa Medical City (?).

Matataba yung burger patties nila and not overcooked, and you should also try their chicken sandwich. Sarap!

Bellini's Italian Resto in Cubao serves good food daw at reasonable rates. It was featured before in F's food trip segment.
