did you ever ask those technicians what ever happened to your SU everytime they come by? (SU = Subscriber Unit?)
I mean, the chances of the problem occuring everytime your dismantle your PC and the SU resetting is already odd right?

pano ba maka libre sa meridian. kapitbahay ko meron e. i tried i can see the network kasi may signal din ako. sabi nila i need to spoof my neighbor's ip address. is this true?
Hack directly to your neighbor's Meridian connection? I seriously doubt it. But let's say it's possible, should you actually do it?
Just a thought to ponder on.

Its not easy to connect sa meridian connection kasi first, hindi broadcast ang SSID. Mahirap manghula ng SSID.
Pangalawa while the team that meridian sent was installing my connection, mayroon na parang preactivation test page. Sabi nila kung hindi unit nila ang gamit mo, hindi ako makakabit kahit anong gawin ko.
Anyways so far so good sa connection ko. Very admirable ang gumawa ng system na ito.
(Kung may meridian dito) keep up the good work!
hi!ano connection speed mo?try http://www.testmy.net
Paano kung hindi line of sight yung cell site or malayo ka dun? Will it affect your connection?
hi guys, im tracking this thread as I myself want to get Meridian sometime soon. Have some questions to ask, how much is their registration fee? How many days will it take to install once you applied? Is there a contract? Sorry for these questions guys but I don't really have time to call their customer hotline as I have lots of experiences dealing with them (not with Meridian though).Any help is much appreciated.
Just emailed meridian. 800/month daw and may installation fee na P500. although, un nga, may contract ba? balak ko magpakabit this Sunday.
I also heard from a subscriber na may promo daw. Free connection for the first 3mos. Hindi naman minention ng sales rep nila.... Totoo ba 'to?
There are rumors that they stopped processing the applications for subscription in anticpation of their product launch next month.
Anyway, sa ngayon walang registration fee.
There were reports that some had their service installed the day after they applied.
There's a 1 year, 5-movie contract with viva films.
;-)
Kung hindi line of sight, mas mataas ang chances na mahina ang signal. Syempre, kung mahina ang signal apektado ang koneksyon.

800 a month na lang? Hmm...
@vision of love
i'll answer for chie_ph. Sorry for that off-topic line, pero we're talking about a different company and project. Not meridian.
@charmedprue
ang alam ko, 1 month free plus installation fee.
have u try uploading like let's say a 10MB file? What has been the average upload speed in KBps?
hi.if this msg is for me,Originally Posted by entrepreneur05
no,i havent uploaded directly but if Bittorrent counts,i have uploaded like gigs already.my average upload in BT is plain crazy at 150kbps!even beyond that sometimes
uy, ngayon ko lang nabasa ito ..anyway, how's the connection and how much is their MSF? 1K pa rin?
and parang i find it hard to believe na nde naapektuhan yung connection nila, say when it rains or something .. and knowing that it's wireless, dba there's always a chance that other people might know about it and make use of that "free" connection?
btw, bustable speed sila according to the site .. so, when do you experience this speed burst? everyday? or every now and then?
any meridian subscribers from QC here? i applied online lastweek kaso wala pa **** sila reply.ano ba number ng customer svc nila? thanks!
