I've been to Bantayan last year, November. Super ganda. We stayed sa Budyong Beach, just next door from Kota. We think it's waaay better than Kota kasi the beach is right in front of the nipa huts with matching hammock pa. Plus they have parang yung thing for lifeguards. Me and my boyfriend watched the sunset from there drinking beer. Super galing!!! I think we payed 700 pesos for the nipa hut, no aircon. If may aircon parang 900 ata yung binigay. I can't remember na. I'll post pictures tomorrow.

Mali, yung sa Budyon pala 900 yung nipa hut sa harap ng beach and 700 yung sa may likod. We spent 3 nights there. tapos plus food. Pero dapat you have to go get dinner early kasi mga after 9 wala ka na maaabutan. Plus, nasaraduhan pa kami ng gate nung gabi na kami umuwi so sa becah front pa kami dumaan. Good thing 'di high tide nun haha.

We came from Cebu so sa malapit sa Sta Fe yung Ferry. Pero when we left, we caught the ferry from Bantayan to Negros.

^OMG!!!! Baka nagkita tayo sa Bantayan? Kagagaling ko lang dun. Kararating ko lang from the airport right now. Hehe. Was there from Oct. 18-22. Ganda, 'no We stayed at Kota Beach. P770 non-aircon. Hindi beachfront at medyo malayo sa beach PERO ok lang kasi may mga vegetation kaya hindi nakakahiyang maglakad to the beach lalo na kung naka 2-piece ka.

    Contact info [Kota]:
    Tel: 63 32 438 90 42
    Email: kotabeach@gmail.com
    Wala silang website/webpage. [grr]

    Rates:
    Beachfront suite P2,000
    Aircon de luxe 1,560
    Non-aircon cottage 1,079
    Non-aircon standard room 770
    Row house 1,300

Disclaimer: Rates are valid until December 31, 2007 only.

Yung rates na 'yan kasama na ang hatid-sundo ng resort driver from the port. Sulit!

People: Unless SOBRANG tipid traveler kayo, 'wag kayong mag-stay sa SUGAR BEACH. Super sucky accommodations. They have P400 and P500 cottages, though. Pero if you're willing to spend P770 per night per room, head to Kota Beach.

Pede nagkita tayo. NAgstay kami Sa MArlin's at nag day tour kami sa Ogtong. Okay naman stay namen. Yung rooms sa Marlin super spacious. Yung beds okay at aircon. Pretty yung rooms nila eh.

Sa Ogtong sarap swim sa cave at beach nila. Super linis.

  12. #72
^Shucks, hindi kami nagpunta sa Ogtong Sayangggg! Magkano sa Marlin's We spent our first night at Sugar Beach. Don't do this because the accommodations are totally sucky.

  13. #73
Marlin's we got the room for P1300. Twin beds siya. Spacious. type ko yung wooden floors nila at high ceiling.

Ogtong P100 lang entrance tapos super pics ka na at pool, beach, project..heheh

  14. #74
ano kaya pinakamurang way para pumunta dito?

  15. #75
^You mean from Cebu to the island or from Manila to Bantayan

    Manila-->Cebu=plane
From airport, ride a taxi (P200) to NORTHERN BUS TERMINAL.
Ride a bus to Hagnaya Port [basta yung papuntang Bantayan]
Hagnaya Port to Sta. Fe [in Bantayan]= P134.40

If I were you, start reading from the first page. Cut and paste everything that you need then print it out.

Yung Ogtong Beach malinis talaga. Yung sa area ng Sta. Fe, medyo madumi. Ok lang kung seaweeds pero yung iba kalat at absura na talaga.
