Yuchengco pa din ang best. I still dislike the Sy Hall kasi nawala na football field which is the best view from Velasco. :P.

Miguel is nice too kasi nakikita mo lahat ng tao. Except if you're designated sa 2nd floor.

I dislike SJ (smells rotten floorboards) and William (wala namang classes but ang liit ng faculty rooms).

De La Salle Canlubang to become

DLSU Science and Technology Complex

A takeover of DLSC is planned for A.Y. 2013-2014. The campus will be renamed as the Science and Technology Complex. The decision will prompt the University to relocate the College of Engineering (COE), College of Science (COS) and the College of Computer Studies (CCS).

During the meeting, a point was raised that the Canlubang campus is having difficulty progressing, and it stands to benefit from the merger with DLSU.

Aquino notes that they University will hold further consultation with its stakeholders..

let's hope they come up with a good idea. moving students to canlubang is no joke, and unless they come up a world-class science and technology park (as they call it) which would be easily accessible, this is going to be a terrible, terrible idea. there is probably growth potential because they going to be able to attract students from canlubang and areas near it, but other than that, i don't see anything positive from this move.

we want to attract the best and yet we are moving away from it.

methinks they're trying give the DLSU name to DLS-Canlubang in order to have a grasp of the market in Santa Rosa the moment it matures. That area there has potential in the coming years, the brothers are really thinking ahead.
I agree though, that transferring COS, COE and CCS is like hitting the self-destruct button.
They should just establish extension units of the colleges there since the proposed Science and Technology Complex of DLSU is, IMO, envisioned to be full of Research Centers. They should also try expanding the campus further for future developments.

Seriously speaking, napapagod ako sa stairs sa Miguel. I like LS and it's timeless architecture... not so with the rooms, though.
