I had a nude photoshoot the other day, it was another interesting session because of the new perspectives I gained about photography.

I have come to realize that taking a photograph of the human body is not as easy as it looks. As sweat was dripping from my forehead,I realized that a lot of factors had to be taken into consideration when trying to achieve a certain look.

Light, shadows and shades play crucial roles in photographs. Too much light might make your subject flat, too much shadows and you will miss out on certain details. As I was trying to carefully get the right combination of my shutter speed, f-stop and flash compensations and ever so carefully planning my composition, sometimes only to be ruined by a heaving shutter finger, i took my shots.

Taking photographs of the naked human body while avoiding the malicious stigma that goes along with it.

The human body is definitely a work of art, how the skin plays with the light, how each curve create the wonderful shadows the help create the illusion and how each shot would be different from the next even at the same angle.

Those wanting to go into photography should try this. Its a challenge with worthy rewards.
