There are only 3 living cardinals in the Philippines while we're the biggest Catholic nation in Australasia with roughly 60 million followers. India has 5 cardinals, Australia has 3 (with only 600,000 Catholics), and Japan has 2. If Vidal is to be pope then we'd probably see more Filipino cardinals in the future.
