What do you think of the Ateneo-La Salle merge in Harbour Center?

Yes, Harbour Centre already had a team that competed in last year's inaugural run of the United Regional Basketball League (URBL) but not all of them could join the team when it put up an entry in the PBL mostly due to being above the PBL's age limit and restrictions on former professional players. Among the players that were affected include center Long David (since signed with Red Bull), guard Jojo Manalo and 2004 STI URBL Mythical Five members Ariel Garcia and Billy Bansil. Dave Bautista was already a part of the team but he suddenly decided to play instead as an import in the OFW leagues in the Middle East before the URBL began play.

Incidentally, MBA ex-pros Garcia and Bansil also led the URBL in scoring and rebounding respectively. Together with Manalo, they are expected to anchor Pampanga's bid this season along with the core of the University of the Assumption Blue Pelicans varsity and other finds from their basketball talent-rich province.

The only members of Harbour Centre-PBL who played for the team in the URBL were Rey Mendoza, Joel Solis and Romel Dizon.
