This place has always been in the news, thanks to Former President Erap and his Farm, but what is there really to see in TANAY? I heard that there are subdivisions now sprouting here, and is it safe in TANAY?? ANy comments about this Place??

Higher than Antipolo. Malalaki subdivisions dito. Yun lang.

Tanay, Rizal is an hour drive from Mandaluyong.

    Some of interesting scenery/events are:

Its about 10-15 mins away from Erap's rest house.

Kalinawan Cave-before you reach Daranak Falls, madadaan din ito. It's a cave na owned by private residence. Nag-shoot din dito sina angel locsin & robin padilla with their teleserye National Treasure. Also Mulawin nag-shoot din dito.

Parola- one of the famous land mark in tanay. Masarap tumambay dito lalo pag gabi. it's along laguna bay. Pag nasa parola ka tanaw mo dun ang laguna, quezon and other nearby town and provinces.

San ildefonso church- located at tanay's plaza. One of the old churches, bulid during spanish era.

Tanay Park- Katabi ito ng San Ildefonso church, it's like a mini Rizal Park like in Kalaw.

Resort- Don Pedro Resort is one of good resrt in tanay though madami pang resot in nearby towns.

Town Fiesta- 3-day fiesta every january 22-24. Masaya dito pag fiesta. Madaming gimik bawat barangay.

Kamalig Restaurant/ Luntiang Tanay- one of few restaurants that offer lutong bahay quality foods.

Town plaza- dito ang puso ng tanay. Andito ang karamihan ng establisments like jolibee, 711, mercury, glodilicks, pizza house,& lots of carinderia.

It just openned last october 08. Convinient mamili like in malls in manila.

Andito ang chowking, greenwinch, dunkin, mister donuts, and another branch ng jolibee.

Rizal Day- Dr. Jose Rizal's execution was anually portrayed by selected students mornings of december 30. The play was alway held in plaza or Tanay park.

Rizal nightlife is best enjoyed in the ridges of Antipolo viewing Manila from a distance. Due to its close proximity to Manila, Rizal has wide array of entertainment from the resorts that dot the province. Others might prefer camping out in Daraetan River if you plan to rough it out.
