You know, I'm so happy that Shaira didn't enroll in Ateneo. The Ateneo is a place for contemplation, analyzing and deep-thinking. Well, Shaira's course in DLSU(Human Bio) is all about memorizing! She's suited there! She's only good in memorizing. She's actually far incomparable to Ateneo students like Roselle Ambubuyog, the blind student who manages to be on the Dean's List every sem. Keep on bragging about her, after all, she's the best that you can ever have.

uyyyy... i smell bitterness a....someone didn't had the chance siguro to taste what PROMIL tastes like.... lek-lek, what can you brag about yourself anyway? baka wala ka pa sa kalahati ng IQ ni Shaira eh so i dont think you can insult her just like that...We're sorry if your parents weren't able to afford this brand of milk and you had to put up with Alms only... Hey, good news , hindi pa huli ang lahat... Bumili ka na diba!? =p

i've met her in lasalle and she's really nice!!!!! she doesn't act like she's 13, i think she fits in really well here. as far as i can tell she's got a lot of friends and she seems happy.

i don't think we should judge her in the wrong way. yes she's young but she wouldn't be in college if she wasn't capable. all i can say is, good luck to her and she'll probably do great!

    Excuse me LekLek...
i've met roselle...i was with her for four days at the ayala young leaders congress. i've had the chance to talk to her about a lot of things. and you know what? you talking and bragging about her being in ateneo makes me SICK. don't tarnish her image by bragging about her being in the dean's list every term and her being in ateneo. people like you give roselle a bad name, when she deserves all the respect in the world. you say that YOU brag about HER? i noticed no one bragging about YOU, about YOU being in ateneo, about ATENEO bragging about YOU being there. shaira luna has proven herself to be more than worthy to enter a university at the tender age of 13. the least you can give her is the respect due to a fellow college student.

so you're actually an authority on her course now? why? have you taken her course? have you actually gone through the 6 years of human bio and memorized everything? you don't even know what you're talking about leklek. i would really like to see you taking either roselle's course or shaira's course. then maybe you'll learn to think first before speaking or posting.

i've met shaira, and i've been speaking with her on a regular basis. all i know is this: it's not right to say that DLSU is fortunate to have her...i'd say that the Filipino people's very fortunate to have people like her who will really contribute to national development. can you say the same thing about yourself? do you make your country proud?

or will you continue to post derogatory messages?

It is good for Shaira to attend college; at least she will get her desired stimuli for the continued dev't of her intelligence. However, it has a disadvantage: her development in some psychological areas (such as eq dev't) might be impaired as she needs its dev'tal nourishment in a high school setting, not in a college one. This might affect her intel and her academic performance.

i see shaira around dlsu campus especially sa sj bldg since that's where most of her classes are, she's quite young to be in college and i can see her stage where she's developing into a teen--the usual kikay kikay walk sabayan pa ng pag tulak niya sa buhok niya palikod hehe
goodluck na lang sa kanya, im sure she can make it

At last year's Freshman Orientation in Ateneo, there was a 13 yr old guy who came from Philippine Science Highschool. We were so surprised to see such a young boy that a couple of us were asking if he was at the right Orientation Seminar. Of course, the little boy glared at us pointedly and assured us that he was at the right Orientation seminar. His course was BS ECE (not sure, but it was one of those Honors BS course)

There's also this kid right now at Philippine Science High, wait college na ata, who graduated or will be graduating at 13 as well.

There are a lot of gifted children like Shaira Luna. She just got so much publicity because of her Promil ad. I'm surprised she didn't opt to got to Philippine Science first. Their curriculum is at par with college and then she would be with her peers.

I think there should be more schools for gifted children. Academics should not only be the focus but their emotional development as well.

    Red face

I've met Shaira already and she does not look like she's 13 (I mean that I a nice way)And I'm pretty sure she can make it through college academically speaking (No duh!) and emotionally.
To all those people who are criticizing her especially LEK-LEK: INGGIT LANG KAYO!!! You guys are in the wrong room, you have to remember that the topic is "SHAIRA LUNA TO ATTEND AT DLSU", next time make your own topic!!
And you guys say you're from AdMU. Can you please THINK!!! For the last time, INGGIT LANG KAYO!!! KUNG GUSTO NIYO GUMAWA KAYO NG SARILI NIYONG TOPIC!!!

uy!

ika nga ng Harlequin, AS IS!!!! :P

    Question

Ano ba naman 'to. Naging war of the schools nanaman.

(tama ba yun? She looks really nice naman eh. Although I haven't had the opportunity to be introduced to her.

as for me, shaira is now going to dlsu and there's nothing insecure people can do about it... kahit na laitin niyo pa ng todo yung bata.

hindi "Shaira Luna to attend at DLSU"?

Actually, nakita ko na siya! Hmmm... Hindi halata na 14(?) yrs old lang siya kasi ang laki nya for her age.

Ang alam ko na chismis bout her are(paki-verify nalang kung alin ang totoo):
    -she joined the pep squad
-she's being recruited by tls as menagerie staffer
    -she joined santugon
    -she joined women's basketball team

Ano to? Lahat to sasalihan nya? Ok rin yung nag-balita sa akin nito!
