JAM 88.3: Your Kind of Mix

JAM 88.3: Your Kind of Mix!

This is my favorite radio station of all Metro Manila FM stations now. The acoustic, radio-friendly mix is excellent, the DJs are friendly but not chirpy to the point of annoying, and they never underestimate the listeners' intelligence.

Their special show segments aim to help us improve our lives. I especially enjoy Tech and Info Jam with Rick, Shelve It with Lana, and Jam Sessions with Harry.

How about it, PExers? How many of you are fans of the Jam?

It's the radio station i listen to 99% of the time whenever I turn on the radio!

Very good playlist. And yes, the DJ's are good. And it's not overwhelming with commercials.

I hate it when the DJ's hog all the air time in other radio stations.... :P

Argh, I do too! I listen to radio for music, not to hear about what one particular person did that particular morning. *cough* Chico and Delamar *cough*

If I want to have a good mood while working on a saturday morning, I'd listen to Jam 88.3 Astig nung mga songs na piniplay nila dun - especially the indie ones. Dun ko rin una narinig yung Collide ni Howie Day before.

    That's an award-winning website, ha.

Tori Amos is #1 on their chart right now. Any station that plays Tori is definitely worth my time!

    Hey guys pa tulong naman.

Jam has this scrapbook to singapore promo. Anybody knows the list of items to be included? I listen to Jam most nights but I missed one or two.

Things in my list so far:

    Singapore Flag
    Jam logo
    Las Palmas Travel Logo
    Singapore Map
Photo in front of Singapore restaurant
5 things that remind you of singapore

I know I am missing some items pa.

Anybody have a more complete list?

JAM 88.3 - Your Kind of Mix

We play songs ranging from soft to soft alternative. Its not mellow but its relaxing, its not dance but it’s invigorating. It’s your kind of music, it’s your kind of mix. Easy listening is the way Jam defines it,”
    - Joe D’ Mango, Station Manager

yeah.. i actually like the type of music they play. especially the new stuff that aren't played on mainstream stations...

(but oftentimes, i fail to catch the title or singer of the songs they play.)
