Concert queen Pops Fernandez is all set to combine her musical prowess with her gift of gab in the eponymous “POPS!”

Slated to create its own niche in the viewing habits of television audiences, this cutting edge lifestyle talk show with a huge heart is a produced by Kitchie Benedicto- Paulino's KB Entertainment Unlimeted, Inc. for ABC TV.

Written by Bibeth Orteza and directed by Bert De Leon, the maiden episode has Pops posing tough and provocative question to Martin Nievera, who quips his way out in manner only he can. It's when the uncouple sing some song together, that we realize the spark is still there, and it's perhaps never felt.

POPS! airs Nov. 15, and from hereon, a promise of fulfilling Monday evenings, 10pm on ABC-TV. It's not just a talk a talk show, not merely a magazine show. It's a potpourri, the best of everything. It's POPS!

So Extra Challenge arranged a special surprise for his birthday this year. In San Juan, Batangas, Paolo will be joined by Nikki Gil (from the Coke ad), Olivia Daytia (of Max’s Fried Chicken), Cathy Bordalba (of TxTube) and Jana de Leon (a former date from the S-Files). They will be our challengers, all fighting for a date with Paolo.

As an added surprise, we’ve arranged for POPS Fernandezto host the challenge alongside Ethel.

At first glance, all the challengers look shy and wouldn’t hurt a fly. But looks are deceiving. Watch as the challengers go all out in competition!
