El Nido Transportation Guide
Any feedback for Ogie Beach Pension (formerly Og's Pension)? Wanted to try Marina but fully booked na sila on our scheduled trip.I saw Og's Pension last year and beach front sila. Cheapest room nila is P700.
Antonio village is just after hadafe cottages they offer their rooms good for 2 for 600 pesos only and rooms good for 4 at 700 pesos only with additional 100 pesos per additional pax...and it's a new hotel so all are clean and well maintained..raincheck for the number i have it at home c:
Just got back from my 3rd El Nido trip (June 9 - 12). Ang masasabi ko lang El Nido is the best at hindi ako mananawang balik-balikan siya
We are a group of 9 pax - 3 of us are 3rd/2nd timers na in PPS/El Nido, the rest are 1st timers
Our Itinerary:
June 9
- arrival in PPS and travel to El Nido
- left PPS around 6:00pm and we arrived in El Nido 12mn on June 10
- dinner in Roxas, Palawan at a Vietnamese Restaurant
June 10 - Island Hopping (combination of Tours C and D)
spots visited:
- Secret Lagoon (snorkeling)
- Secret Beach (this time hindi na ko pumasok kasi malalaki ang waves and natakot ako baka mahampas ako sa batuhan, while waiting sa mga kasama namin na pumasok, ng-stay lang kami sa boat habang idinuduyan ng big waves)
- Lunch at Matinloc/Tapuitan Beach, kami lang tao sa beach and we had it all to ourselves. Dahil addict ako sa snorkelling ng snorkel lang ako while our boatman/crew prepared our lunch and my other companions is ngpicture picture lang. This Beach is facing Star Beach and 2-3 minutes boat ride lang to Matinloc Shrine
- Matinloc Shrine
- Helicopter Island (may nakita kaming pawikan, sobrang tiyaga ng tour guide namen hindi talaga nila tinigilan ang paghila sa min sa lifebouy while snorkeling until makakita kami ng pawikan)
- Cadlao Lagoon (we saw 2 bahay kubos sa may shoreline which was used by Survivor Sweden daw last April)
Dinner : Sea Slugs (I ordered seafood spaghetti, the serving is good for 2-3 person for only Php180... nakakatuwa lang nakilala na ako nung isang crew, sabi niya "ma'am pala ka dito noh?" hehehe last time I was there was December 2011)
June 10 - Island Hopping (combination of Tours C and D)
spots visited:
- Pinagbuyutan Island (1st time to visit this island and winner siya sa colorful corals and fishes)
- Codugnon Cave
- Lunch at Entalula
- Simizu Island (one of my favorite spots in El Nido, sarap mgpakain ng fish and swim with them)
- Big Lagoon
- Small Lagoon
- Snorkeling in the entrance of Big Lagoon (1st time ko din mg-snorkel dito and super ganda sa ilalim, sobrang colorful)
Dinner : El Nido Corner Restaurant (as usual mabagal parin ang service nila hehe, we ordered pasta bolognese and Fish Fillet in lemon and butter sauce and was shared by 3 persons, expensive ang food dito and lahat for sharing BUT if you'll ask the crew ang sasabihin nila good for 1 person lang hehehe pasaway lang)
June 12 - PPUR and back to Manila
- left El Nido at 3am, arrived in Sabang 8am
- Underground River Tour at 09:50am
- lunch buffet at 11:00am
- visited Bakers Hill and Immaculate Conception Church
- bought cashew's and pearls for pasalubong
- check in at PPS Airport at 4:00pm
- left PPS around 5:45pm
We got the services of Sir Hanny from Hadefe Travels for the second time, he's easy to deal with, generous and super kind. Our package include's - transfers to and from El Nido, 2 days island hopping w/ lunch, Underground River tour w/ lunch, trip to Bakers Hill and Immaculate Conception Church.
We stayed at Rico's Beach Cottages, which is located at the town and beachfront. We occupied 4 fan rooms, Php1,200 per room for 2 pax but since its our second time to stay na in their place naka-discount kami ng php100 per room
Enjoy parin ako kahit 3rd time ko na sa El Nido:
- siguro kasi ok yung tour guide namin - si Loloy from Hadefe Travels sobrang makuwento and funny hehehe...
- siguro kasi may bagong spots akong napuntahan na hindi ko pa napuntahan sa previous visits ko to El Nido...
- and sobrang ganda kasi ng El Nido, dito gusto mg-stay pgretired na ako

hi, ask ko lang kung saan yun transient house na sinasabi mo.. kung saan malapit? medyo tight budget kasi ang group namin. so we are looking for the cheapest accomodation. hindi naman kami maarte!

that's scary. sana ma lift na and safe na to do island hopping. I had a scary experience there one time when they put us in a small boat and we were 5 heads pero ang lakas and lalalaki ng alon. so while we were on the trip, i looked back and saw na natanggal yung steering wheel ba yun and manual drive ni kuya and so much effort naduguan pa yung hands nya. the scariest.

Depende yan sa budget nyo po. May Class A, B, C accommodations dun. Not sure though if they have dormitory types. May na stay-an ako sa La Casa Teresa na pwede yata nga 5...pwede kung siksikan 7 pero ou have to ask them f pwede sa kanila yun. Syempre ok kayo na ganun but the owner hinde pwede kase malulugi sila. Though La Casa Teresa is malayo from town. Trike fare is 20 pesos per head kung filipino ka. That's if papunta ka town and usually 25 - 30 ang singil nila pagpabalik kase wala na silang makukuhang pasehero dun.
Contact Ms. Tiara 09178094509 she's a legit tour operator and she can hook you up with a van. Ingat lang po dun sa mga nag PM sa inyo giving their services.
Nag-worry tuloy ako (bukas na yung trip namin!) kaya tinanong ko yung tour operator namin. Last week lang naman daw suspended dahil sa bagyo pero ok na daw weather ngayon.
