I miss my high school days sorely. I used to “tambay” a lot after classes (especially during my final year) and my barkada and I would spend the entire afternoon catching up on the latest tsika or just loitering around the corridors (yes, loitering was actually fun.) I miss having a crush on an upperclassman and following him around, researching his schedule, and telling my friends how many times I saw him that day and how oh-so-cute he looked. *impish grin* I miss the parties where all my batchmates would dress up and dance the night away. Heck, I even miss flag ceremony.

Weird. I don’t think there’s anything I miss about college. *ponder*

PS. For those who haven’t graduated yet, what do you think you’ll miss once you start working?

I miss so many things about my high school!
The teachers, the helpers, the VERY clean bathrooms, the beautiful chapel, the lovely campus, the patio where we put our bags while waiting for our cars, playing patintero, sitting on the floor playing jackstones, taking out our shoes to play chinese garter, the (relatively) easy lessons, the quarterly exams which meant half days, no classes announcements, the cheering competitions... Ang dami!

I miss a lot of things from college too. The org meetings, the everyday masses, the ****** math, the 12-minutes-that-seemed-like-forever philo orals, Colayco lobby, the movie premieres, the EDSA bulletin boards, the expensive fishballs (LOL), inihaw in the clubhouse, the trike rides, food sales, the one mile run (LOL), interesting ACP classes, the beautiful church songs, Mang Ted, Mang Manny, refillable iced tea, the ****** registration (yeah I miss that too, LOL), History with Ibazeta, Comm 107 with Father Nick, Theo 151 with Parco (believe it or not, I miss that too), tambay during 5 hour breaks, the drive to Sta. Lu for a movie, philo classes at night, tons of readings under Father David (well, maybe I don't miss it )... Ang dami pa!

Kaka-senti naman ang thread na ito.

well, since im only in 2nd yr college, i terribly miss my hs days...my best friend n i would usually reminisce..yeah r fave past time..hehe n we would usually end up laughing r hearts out bcos of the funny things we used to do back in hs...but d best year for me during hs was my junior year, having the best classmates, had my 2nd barkada, full of gmiks and a lot of other stuffs. i totally miss loitering n sitting along the corridors, passing notes, cutting classes (whew! twas really hard..during grad practices), tambay to death after class hours, having our cheering competitions, ms un pageant, linggo ng wika n d like... my list goes on and on...*sigh*

n to answer ada's q: i think il miss having those long breaks n just making tambay everywhere, my friends who'll be goin back to the states after graduation

HS - magpa-cute sa girls. When your major problem was kung papansinin ka ng crush mo.

    COLLEGE - UP itself!!!!!!!!

I miss my friends in high school. A lot of them have migrated to the US, Canada, and Australia. I miss the lack of problems and easy life I've had back then. I also miss the school itself. It was such a great, great place to grow up in.

I miss my friends the most. I've always had a much better time during my college years as opposed to my high school days. There just wasn't enough mature talk or lakwatsas to go around back in high school for me.

That's why I cherish every chance I get to hang out with my college barkada. It's not too often, but it's great whenever the opportunity comes along.

what i miss in highschool is the simple life. i dont have to prove myself to anybody. masaya na ko pag nakikita kong yung crush ko, memorizing his sked, befriending his teachers and asking for info. hanging out with my friends in "batibot" and riding my school jeep.

in college, (now that i'm a certified professional bum) i miss my organization (green & white) and looking at all the graduates pics and waiting for the cute ones to drop by the office! i miss the com labs, the tabmayan, garage's inihaw, my goofy classmates, my teachers and my RR who is my prof that i have the biggest crush on! actually i miss the busy life now that i have all the time in the world! sheeesh i even miss doing mp's! (yikes)

I don't miss HS too much, or maybe I'm growing old College, I miss the orgs, and also the fact it's much easier to meet people unlike now at work where I don't meet too many people in the course of the profession.

In high school, i miss my friends terribly! our stupid games we invent during lunchtime such as baseball using a chinese jackstone bean bag and a rolled up cartonlina, or playing catch with a water balloon...take note, we were seniors at this time!! sobrang immature and carefree ko non, the very reason why i miss it so much. I miss our classroom scenes, eating during lectures, drawing our teachers, pissing our teachers, making fun of our classmates, bullying the undergrads....haaaay. the only thing i don't miss is our UNIFORM!!!

oo nga, uptowngirl. i miss the songfests, kahit ang hirap mag-practice.

i actually miss my college days more though i'm not sure why. i miss my friends a lot. we were doing a newsletter every month, just to update stuffs about one another. every month, we feature a proflie one or two persons of the group. it was so nice that even some of the teachers are awaiting the issue.

after almost a year, we saw each other again last night at the wedding of one of our friends. i was so sentimental last night coz i miss the good times i had with them.

sa high school, i miss my kada and my Nanay Dette. namimiss ko guarding tsaka ang CAT and yung Field Training Exercise (FTX) namin. i miss hanging out at the Caf during breaks. i miss spending lunch breaks at the library. most of all, i miss the easy life and the always fun life my 3rd and 4th yr class gave me in high school and i miss my barkada.

sa college, ill probably miss walking sa buong ateneo. madalas kong gawin yun eh lalo na pag malaki ang break ko or may problema. ill miss my tambayan. but most of all, i guess ill miss Manang's. nothing beats Manang's Inihaw!
