im from manila but CEBU really is my choice, davao... well, ok naman sya pero maraming kulang eh, parang harang, tapos w/ the recent attacks pa mejo eWan ko lang. maraming awards and distinctions ang davao pero i dunno, i really dont wanna live there eh, we had this kind of issue before sa office and majority of us is for cebu talaga, we only go to davao kung kailangan sa work pero pag cebu... todo lakwatsa and gimik ang tropa, manila kasi is too urbanized, davao naman medyo nagkulang sa pagka urban and not as sophisticated as manila or cebu.. CEBU is at the middle.. not too much but never too less. syanga pala ADCON will again be held in CEBU this november... C U in CEBU ulit, pero before that JAMAICAN NIGHTS pa this summer!!!

i am no stranger to these three cities ha, im quite familiar sa mga places na to pero davao as first? dude, dont you know that cebu serves as the base of almost 75% of the domestic interisland shipping companies in the phils? how can davao be first eh sa location ng davao, nasa dulo sya halos ng davao gulf, and you have to cross the eastern shores of mindanao island pa just to get to davao city. while manila is the hub of international vessels when theyre in the country, most probable ranking would be manila 1st, cebu 2nd, davao 3rd

ano nanaman daw? ever heard of shangrila mactan? plantation bay? and more recently hilton resort cebu? do these resorts sound familiar to you o baka naman pearl farm, paradise beach at eden nature park lang alam mo?
it should be cebu 1st, davao 2nd and manila 3rd

regarding the plantation bay nd shang mactan... number 1 nga... check the hotel dude!
yung sa asia week naman... yan ang latest!
cebu fell from number8(1995 i think) to 2plus...

regarding the gimicks,... i think cebu's better... better crowd... better gigs...

dude... these hotels have beaches, k? tawag sa kanila resorts, c'mon, davao is not even known for beaches, pag beach, what comes to mind is boracay, panglao (bohol) cebu and palawan kaya you can never rank davao as number 1 in beaches, maski sa mountain resorts.... hey there's baguio, yun ang totoong MOUNTAIN RESORT

now for the seaports, yeh, id have to agree with you, malinis sa davao, pero in terms of size? no way! dude ang laki ng pier sa mla, but its very disorganised, tsaka marumi, but definitely mas malaki pier ng cebu compared to davao, you can never be a "base" of shipping companies kung maliit pier mo, and soon, pag natapos ang intl port sa cagayan de oro, davao would be 4th na *****

am.. l8tly davao won as the most competitive city in the philippines. ive read it sa star ata.dinaig nila ang qc! cebu on the other hand has nice churches... pero u must admit na problem ang water dun. my classmatetold me that cebu's water us so hot specially during noontime. lagi pang alang water. laki rin ng skwater population which leads to higher crime rates.

cebu on the positive note is really an edge. ve read that theyre plannin tomake an underwater road... but the need to have a new airport..

dude... ur ranking the mountain resorts eh d siempre u can never get baguio out of mountain resorts, pano mo mararank na number 1 in terms of that kind of resort eh may number 1 talagang tunay... itapat mo davao sa tagaytay sure, davao wud be on top, pero if were talking bout mountain resorts itapat mo man ang davao sa baguio.... ewan ko lang, and dude, i wont be brave enuf to post these replies if i havnt been to eden and samal, yes ive been to eden, may buffet nga sila and they have different kinds of flowers and and kung ano ano pa (w/c im too sorry to say is not the stuff i enjoy most) and dude... sorry to burst ur bubble pero the planned casino in samal is aborted po dahil yung malaysian investor (ekhran berhad) ay nag back out, w/c im sorry to say again is because of the threat of terrorists and the asian financial crisis years ago, the only casino in davao i think is the one at mercure grand hotel. and yang most competitive cities mo is like last last year pa, davao is not n#1 last year, i think it was marikina dude, davao placed second and cebu is 4th or fifth ata.... churches.... beautiful churches belongs to iloilo, hehehe, but then agen, u wud argue agen to me that were only talking bout cebu manila and davao, just sharin my thought, cebu is not famous for churches, that fame belongs to iloilo, bout the water issue, yessss, matagal na yan, but then agen, manila has water probs too, ryt? swerte davao, they have plenty of water sources, but have u read the news in sunstar davao mid last year? the banana plantations are contaminating their water sources, nagkaron pa ng fishkill sa davao river, im not sure if you know this though but ive been reading a lot of news, nobody wants to live there at these times, and foreign investors are avoiding the place

Dude, Cebu beach resorts: Whatever happened to Malapascua Island... where u can find the elusive Thresher Sharks... Bantayan Island... Badian Island... Moalboal... Plantation Bay... Shangrila... Comparable to Pearl Farm or Samal Island?

Crime Rates: Ilan ba ngayon ang pinapatay ni Duterte...May scoreboard na? Kasi sa Cebu meron kamin scoreboard na ilan na ang patay na mga criminals (kuno).

ako naman im from cagayan de oro, davao is just a bus ride away tapos cebu is a boat ride away lang, mas malapit and davao here in CDO and ive been to both cities, pero i would rather choose cebu, ewan ko lang pero mas gusto ko talaga cebu compare sa neighbor naming davao, kung sa tinapay pa ang davao ay tinapay na walang palaman, wa gyud siyay lami, sorry peeps from davao, i registered here in pinoyexchange wen i saw this thread, na sabihing CEBU 1st, DAVAO 2nd, MANILA 3rd

i believe you dont need to go outside of luzon kasi nandito na lahat eh. boracay? meron naman boracay of the north sa pagudpud eh (comparable ang white sands), nasa luzon din ang manila (sentro ng business, govt), baguio (coolest city sa pinas), diving (anilao, subic), surfing (daet, baler, san juan). kaya ako, kapag napuntahan ko na ang isang lugar sa visayas and mindanao, as much as possible iba na lang pinupuntahan ko. i've been to davao, cebu, bohol, puerto princesa, puerto galera.
