TPL INSURANCE ( Racket to coz you still have to avail it kahit kasama na TPL sa comprehensive insurance mo) - 900.00
REGISTRATION FEE and Misc.Fees - 1,900++

It took me just 30 mins to get the OR and the sticker. Mabagal pa yun considering na late dumating yung LTO cashier sa Makati.

Just be prepared with all the required docs. ( smoke emission result TPL Insurance Policy plus of course yung stencil ng engine and chassis) para pagdating mo sa LTO submit mo na lang sa evaluator.Afterwards wait mo na lang yung cashier to pay the fees and you can go home na.

Ask ko lang po, sa July na kasi ang registration ng car ko, bale sa East Avenue dati ng paparenew yung pinagbilhan ko, tanong ko po, nasa province kasi yung kotse, pwede sa LTO dun sa province ako dun mag registration? or kelangan sa East avenue ulit?

Seeking your help. Pasensya na if I had to tell the whole story first before proceeding with my question.

kasi nagpatulong ako sa pag-register ng change engine. Ok naman ang takbo pero nag kaproblema ako after namin makuha yung clearance from krame para sa lifting of alarm (may stolen/recovered status kasi yung car). According sa taga-ayos ko she asked somebody from LTO diliman to pull out my records. Unfortunately nawala yung records. Sabi niya ayaw daw pumayag na pagawaan ako ng cr until makita yung records. so needless to say inabot ng 3 mos di pa rin nakita yung records. So about a week ago pumayag na raw i-isyu yung cr kaso wala pa daw pirma. Ngayon naman sinasabi ng taga ayos ko na may problema daw sa computer file kasi yung car file number ko daw na nakaregister sa LTO diliman is ex. 138 pero sa las pinas its 134. so ngayon naman kailangan daw mag undergo ng RSU (reset system upgrade or upload) yung sa stradcom para daw maayos itong discrepancy para daw mapirmahan na raw yung CR. This RSU thing will take again another 3 weeks to complete.

I need an expert on this. I need to know if there is validity dito sa mga procedures na sinsasabi ng taga-ayos ko or niloloko lang nila ako? Is there such a thing as RSU sa procedure ng LTO or stradcom? Please help. thank you.

I have the same problem as above.

I bought a 2nd hand car from a car dealership. The orig owner lost the CR and has no other copy. The car dealership also doesn't have a copy of the CR. I bought the car july-2010. It was renewed June-2010. So, I thought the cars papers were okay. The owner of the dealership assured me it was easy to transfer the car under my name.

The owner of the dealership had someone process the transfer of ownership. It's now more than 1 month and the transfer is not yet finished. We have the affidavit of loss for the CR. We also have the orig OR. But this guy (the guy processing the transfer) said it's taking its time due to RSU. I also want to know if this guy is just is really processing this or is just buying time. Is there any way i can check?

Hello mga Kabayan,

I'm an OFW based here in Dubai. Gusto ko po sanang bumili ng Toyota Commuter 2011 ( kung may budget ehh cash) diyan sa Pinas pag-uwi ko next month for business. Gusto ko po sanang ipa-register itong unit as UV Express.

Ang sabi po sa akin sa Toyota Pasig eh pag na-release na po nila ang unit sa akin eh puwede ko na itong gamitin even w/o car plate
bibigyan daw nila ako ng papeles pansamantala. And I need to wait 1-2 weeks to receive my new car plate.

Eto po mga tanong ko:
1.) Ano po ba ang mga maibibigay na tips ninyo sa akin for buying a new Toyota Commuter 2011 sa Toyota Pasig?
2.) Ano po ba ang mga dapat kong ma double check na information sa mga papeles na ibibigay sa akin ng Toyota Pasig?
3.) Totoo po bang puwede kong gamitin ang unit even w/o car plate basta mayroon lang akong letter from Toyota Pasig?
4.) Paano po ba ang next step na dapat kong gawin to re-register my new Toyota Commuter 2011 to a make it a public utility vehicle?

Pede na tyong magrehistro kahit saang LTO Agency... as long your OR is computerized... may OR kasi na manual lang.. kapag Off line ang LTO...
Just pay for the change venue of P100....
Kapag naman manual ang OR mo... at sa tagaytay mo irrehistro... you have to secure your confirmation request from tagaytay, signed by the chief of LTO Agency... then dalin mo sa LTO laloma record section at bayad ka ng 40 pesos kung manual ang OR mo at 172 pesos naman kung computerized OR...
then fifill out ng record section ng la loma yung confirmation request from tagaytay... then punta ka na sa Tagaytay for registration,
requirements for registration... Orig OR, xerox CR, Certificate of Smoke Emission Test, MVRR form with stencil of motor and chasis at yung confirmation mo from la loma...

sir tanong ko *** po kung kailangan pa na mag antay ng matagal para sa confirmation ng cr kasi from diffirent regions eh, like sa case ko ang car ay from calaca batangas and ako nmn ay nasa bicol region,mga 2weeks daw ako mag aantay para sa confirmation, pero sabi nyo nga pag ka computerized na ang or hindi na kailangan yun,at mag kano ang gagastusin ko pag rehistro pag expired ng 2 yrs ang oto ko.

How will you know if the car, that i bought second hand with a copy of invoice telling me its bought by original owner on January 2011, is registered for 1 year or 3 years?

Wala po kasi yun sticker. I went to LTO and sabi nila na i-verify nila sakin, but hindi na ako binalikan. thanks!

plan ko po kasing bumili ng 2nd hand na car. hindi ko pa nakikita in actual through pictures lang including the license plate. kaso nung chineck ko dun sa lto text service, magkaiba yung model. yung actual corolla but then yung nakalagay sa text service "corona". i asked yung owner, sabi niya wala naman daw issue dun. typo lang daw. kaso ang problema dun what if mahuli ka ng traffic enforcer or hpg. makikita nila dun na iba yung model. ngayon kasi parang napapaisip ako umurong kasi sayang naman yung hard-earned money kung mapupunta sa wala. mahirap na diba? hehehe.

paano po pala magpaverify sa pnp kung may alarm or kaso yung car? hindi ba in-line yung lto alarms at sa pnp?

well, hindi ko pa naman pinupuntahan yung car para tignan kasi kulang pa ng funds. hehehe. paadvice naman po. salamat.

hi guys! ask ko *** po, nawawala po *** original CR( certificate of registration) ng sasakyan ko. Nag request po ako ng duplicate ng CR sa LTO Region X. Dito po kc nakaregister *** sasakyan ko. Nakumpleto ko lahat ng requirements na dapat ibigay pag mag request ng duplicate ng CR. sabi po nila sa akin, Hindi daw *** makaprovide ng copy ng CR kc nasunog daw *** LTO Region X office nong 2001. At nakaregister daw *** sasakyan ko ng 2000. Anu po pwede gawin ko? May buyer kc *** sasakyan ko and hinihingian ako ng original CR. pa advice *** po ako sa inyo. Tnx a lot....

Sec. Mar Roxas has recently said that the LTO contract with Stradcom will not be renewed (2013 ang expiry nito) at magkakaron ng bidding para sa bagong IT provider.

Hindi kaya maging mala NBI clearance ang mangyari dito? We must admit that Stradcom has issues, naiisip ko lang baka magka loko-loko ang database ng LTO next year.

Hi all!
Bumili kasi ako ng kotse last Sept 2009. Tapos ang gusto kong ending ng plate number ay 5 para Wednesday ang coding. And nangyari 3 & 3/4 yrs yung pinabayarang rehistro sa akin. At yung stickers na binigay ay 2009, 2010 at 2011 lang. Next month, May 2012, kailangan ko na magparehistro? May nakapagsabi kasi sa akin na pupunta lang daw ako sa LTO at ipapakita yung resibo ko na 3 & 3/4 years yung binayaran ko, tapos bibigyan na daw ako ng 2012 sticker. Tama po ba yun? or may iba pang proseso tulad ng normal registration process (smoke belching, etc)? Magbabayad ba ako? How much? Thanks in advance.

good morning sir, bumili ako ng motor na 2nd hand, actually third owner na ako. nawala ko yung or and cr na original, pati yung lisensya ko nawala din. ano ba dapat ko gawin para makakuha ulit ako ng original na or and cr ulit.

Good afternoon. I'm not sure if im posting this query in the right area, but:
1) May I know if the suspension of "no plate-no travel" rule been extended to the end of june or july 2012 ?

2) Can an owner of a newly purchased vehicle drive in Metro Manila streets using the conduction sticker, while waiting for the OR/CR and the plates to arrive.

3) Since the LTO website is still down, where in the web can I download the LTO memorandum regarding the suspension of the "no plate - no travel rule", if indeed it was extended to the end of june or july.

sir question po. nakabili ako honda civic 95 recently na register car under the name of the owner.napagawa ko din notarized deed of sale.bale 3rd owner na po ako. pina repaint ko po ang car,dating rose mica then changed to metallic gray.kailangan ko pa po ba mag file ng change color sa LTO? or pwede na to sa next registration which is march next year.and ano po requirements para ma transfer saken ang ownership ng car? thanks po.

yap.. kailangan mo mag file sa LTO... pero yung iba nating motorist di agad sila nag pa file.... pwede mo rin siya i pa change sa next registration mo... yun nga lang iwas ka sa huli...

deed of sale tapos 2 valid ID noong owner kahit photocopy
lang with 3 signatures... PNP Clearance tapos Inspection report from LTO...

kung within quezon city ka lang punta ka ng LTO Laloma meron doon clearance and MV inspection
