Not in UP. I don't know if it's a good sign or a bad sign, but majority of the students in UP couldn't have cared less about our varsity teams. Before I joined the Pep Squad, I didn't know any of the members in our basketball team. It's only now that I'm aware of them as well as the other teams.

Yep, Ateneo won't do that, and it's really showing, no? I do hope that in the future, the administration would take steps to improve its promotion of sports proficiency without sacrificing academic excellence.

definitely not in UST. no matter how great a player you are, if your grades don't make it, di ka na tatagal pa nang isang sem. the players don't receive special treatments by their professors.
i don't think there is a school who prioritize sports over academics.
