Don't waste your time babbling with someone who is definitely way below your level. Alj, Lancaster, Kublais (and many more alternicks to come) will just throw you in an endless spiral of dialectic gewgaws. I don't need to elucidate on the manner he speaks. It's like f**k and a**hole is part of his every command of the english language. (Moderators, please take notice.)
Dear pexers:
Any posts that come from Alj, Lancaster, Kublais is of irrelevance. They (or he) are/is like pop-up nuisance ads that you love to delete every time they appear and try to steer you away from your precious internet time.
Alj, Lancaster and Kublais:
Before you post something wrongly (especially about UST), ask yourself this: Do I come from the country's top tier schools (UP, AdMu, UST, DLSU) to have even an iota of guts to post derogatory remarks about them? I'm sure your alma mater would have vomitted you out in stinky grays and whites when they find out there exists someone like you. Here's a penny same as your worthWe don't need your attention. You're a distraction. Shoo!!! Away and be gone! Then Pex can kiss your nano-sized gray matter goodbye.

I’m from UP and I will never ever recognize UST having equal footing with the “big three”. No way!
However, UST is not at all a bad school.
Are you saying that UST is in the league of UP, Ateneo and La Salle?Originally posted by wired_00

Oh, come on… that’s ridiculous!![]()
No offense meant but UST is in the league of UE and FEU.
susmio, another simple thread with a simple question, may niregla pa talaga r'yan.
check your own thread, alj, where you mentioned ust 13 times as one of the best in 13 fields. ano ba problema mo sa ust at parang tuwing nababanggit ito ay nireregla ka?
and pluweeessss, ust not in the level of ateneo, la salle, and what's the name of the other school? UST IS WAY ABOVE THEM!
taga-msu-iligan ka lang, di ba?
i dunno bakit may ateneo or DLSU dito.. we are talking about architecture schools here
back to topic:
eh ano ngayon kung best school for architecture if you cant get in/ could not afford/ too far for you/ wont accept you or even to learn a thing or two?
i think most people would go for UP/ UST for architecture. also Mapua and others for their own personal reasons. be affordability or easy to commute.
so dapat "best architecture school for you" ang mas importante.
NEVERENDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nagtanong lang ng best archi school in the Philippines...nagsimula na naman ang school bashing!
Puwede ba!?!?
Sige, you guys can go on with this habang mga estudyante pa lang kayo , though that isn't an excuse!!! (well, meron na rin siguro ditong tapos na mag-aral, gaya ko...)....just can't help but react.
Pakita niyo na lang na magaling kayo no!!!
Once you're out there working, hindi mo na dapat isipin na "Ah...I am from the best Archi School in the WHOLE WIDE PHILIPPINES!!!!"...what you should think about is kung paano mo magagawa ang trabaho mo ng maayos at matino...GAMITIN MO ANG PINAG-ARALAN MO (ng tama!!!) KAHIT SAANG UNIBERSIDAD KA PA NAGTAPOS!!! GANUN LANG KASIMPLE YUN!!!
GUDLAK SA INYO!!!!

Not that I’d like to side on alj but why won’t you start behaving modestly. After all, you are already a manager of a manila based company as you said you are and managers don’t do the things you are doing now.Originally posted by cutegirl2002

yung English grades ko na piankita ko sa iyo just to testify your claim about my "poor writing skills". i thought matalino ka, and yet you don't know how to interpret my POST. maybe, mas lamang ka sa fluency and articulation, but definitely, hindi kita kalevel sa mga computer skills ko. yup, i become a manager, not because i have a poor english skills, but i have a superb grade in our Engineering Management and Eng'g Economics/Accounting Subjs.. and also with my Math Grades... hayan, pinagyayabang ko na yan!
any interpretation?
Not that I'd like to doubt(as an alternick again!) you but why won't you start posting in some topics. after all, alj's alternick tried to post first against me just to give credit his/her post.Originally posted by gerry_lim

If your a UP peep(the true one) then try to impress me in your subjective point of view. otherwise, i doubt if you've valued your UP education. no offense meant. peace![]()
Miss, I was not implying you needed to have an “excellent” English to be associated as “matalino” but at least for someone who claimed a manager of a Manila based company, you ought to have a descent command of the English language. Okay, my English is not impeccable but at least it’s not as awful as yours. Take note, I am still a student with more time to refine my language skills.Originally posted by cutegirl2002

As in your case, you should have done the “honing” a long time ago before you graduated because it hugely interdicted your previous flaunting of having to come from a prestigious school. Moreover, being engineering major is not an excuse to having poor language ability. It is an individual choice to put importance on the things you needed to learn while at school might it be English or other. A manager who writes poorly is a joke… it’s really a big joke.![]()
My interpretation? That you are full of absurd reasons and your making you’re being an engineering major an excuse for having a poor command of the English language. What a lame excuse…?![]()
The Philippines is a bilingual country. Filipinos are expected to speak and write fluent Filipino however able to shift to the English language with great ease and aplomb. We are in the 21st century where businesses are conducted at global height. In order for us to be competitive these days, we got to have an edge that for me is our ability to speak and write English fluently.![]()
Again, I am not implying that my English is excellent… however it is not something as contemptible as yours.
Wake up! You are out of college now.![]()

If you're a ...
or
If you are a ...
not
If you’re a …
Also, I think it's rather correct this way.
Try to impress me with
Not
Try to impress me in
Hence, that paragraph should have written this way:
If you are a true UP student then try to impress me by posting objectively. Otherwise, I doubted if you have valued your UP education.
Or this way:
If you are a true UP student then try to impress me with your subjective opinion. Otherwise, I will doubt if you have valued your UP education.
Pero, why will you be impressed with a “subjective” point-of-view?
Ang hirap I-edit. Ang dami kasing mali. Hindi na pwede “brush-up” your English dito… kailangan she needs to go back to learning the basics kasi. As in, subject verb agreement and all those stuffs.![]()
