My cousin gave birth in Asian and it cost her 100 thousand ++. CS yon. And it was a package given to her by her doctor. Pwede na considering napaka-ganda ng Asian. The birthing room is so cozy. The rooms lalo. The bathrooms are super clean. Ang ganda ganda ng cafeteria nila. And the services they offer, sobrang hi-tech talaga.

MCU have 3D ultrasound which you can clearly see the baby's face. I think it costs around P800.

    ultrasound

can one bring equipment or a video cam to record the ultrasound of ur baby? like instead of showing it sa monitor baka pwede i-output sa laptop or sa dvcam... i dunno i just want to have a copy of the baby's first pic hehehe

airendale, usually they give you copies of the ultrasound which you can xerox as it is printed on paper on which print disappears after sometime.

fyi, medical city has delivery packages, for normal vaginal birth, 20,000 inclusive of professional fee, 3 days stay, delivery room charges etc. 36,000 for CS. however, this is at a maternal ward. if you want private rooms, they said they don't have any packages for such.

My ultrasound technician was kind enough to provide us with a CD containing all of our baby's u/s pics ready for email use, including the 3D ones...but then that was here in the US.

Maybe you could bring a CD of your own and ask them if they can download the file.

Asian Hospital is located at Muntinlupa City.

Bale if you'll take the south super hi-way you will make your exit to the filinvest exit then the road will turn right just follow it tapos you will see a stop light turn right again, andun ka na.

I've been in Asian Hospital last June. Nagpa-thyroid scan ako dun.

True to their descriptions - Parang Hotel talaga!

hindi ako sure kung preggy na talaga ako.. pero most of the time nahihilo ako, 3 days na akong delay tapos bumili kami ng asawa ko ng pregnancy test kit positive ang result, pero iyong positive line medyo hindi clear.. so next week try kaming magpacheck up, hindi ko pa nga alam kung saan may magaling na ob. actually, i'm from cainta, so medyo malapit lang sa amin ang medical city, meron din kasi health card don ang asawa ko na pwede kong gamitin, meron ba kayong kilala na pwede ako.. iyong hindi naman namemera lang. pakipm na rin sa akin kung magkano ang aabutin don ng normal delivery at cs. thanks..

first baby ko ito if ever....

asian hospital sheesh i wished i had given birth there kaso it's too expensive. Pero parang hotel ang facilities don. I gave birth at Alabang Medical Center they have an OB package and you'll only pay half the regular price for pre-natal check-up. Sa delivery nagastos ko 17000 private room. If you are from the south I would recommend this hospital. Masarap pa food usually kse hospital food taste bad pero dun masarap.

Ellheym, if u just want to check if u are preggy and u are on a budget go to Friendly Care clinic along Shaw BLvd near Star Mall.
This place is sponsored by USAID and various NGOs, competent naman staff nila and mura pa for checkups. Its a family clinic, may pedia, derma, obgyne etc. The medical price list for let say ultrasound and other treatments are posted ala McDo fastfood style sa lobby nila. I had an ultrasound noon sa Medical City it cost me around 1,800 to 2k pero yung Friendly care around 300-500 lang. Goodluck!

    Dads sa delivery room

Do they allow the Dad sa delivery room? normal practice ba ito dito? i wld like my husband sana present sa delivery room pampalakas ng loob siempre. Pwede ba i-request ito? para kasi hindi uso sa Pinas na involve sa delivery procedure ang daddy.
    any comments?

    airendale,

i asked my ob-gyne about this as i'm about to give birth. she said that in st. lukes, capitol and medical city, both the labor and delivery rooms are unaccessible to any visitors, husband or family.
sa makati med, UST daw, they're more lenient. i guess you can call the hospital you intend to deliver at and ask.

  17. #57
UST di ako pinapasok delivery room.

  18. #58
Thanks CrazyinLuv and Geekhead sa replies

Ganun ba? Sayang naman. sana meron pa rin. ill ask my OB-Gyne pa rin kung pwede. haay naku kung meron man sa inyo dads na inallow sa delivery room, pls share naman ng experince

  19. #59
airendale, i just inquired sa capitol and st. lukes. sa capitol, they have what you call a VIP Labor room. dun ka na from labor to recovery and can bring the husband and the mother inside. but it costs 20-25k for 12 hours. more if CS, and the price also depends on what room you get.

st. lukes has the same concept, a total care unit i think. but i didn't ask na how much it would cost.

however, if you have a lamaze certificate, they'll allow your husband in. i think hospitals have a lamaze delivery room or something.

geekhead, talaga? kasi a friend of mine na doctor said na pwede. oh well.

Thanks CraZyInLuV! I just realized what i wanted wld cost more ***** more ipon pa hehe. Problem is, I live in makati malayo kasi St. Luke's in case i suddenly go into labor.

    Thanks!
