After the acquisition, the original chef of Amici bolted out and started his own restaurant in Araneta Cubao area, I just forgot the name.

Well, yung original na Amici, masarap yung Margharita (sp) pizza nila. Okay din yung P25 Gelatto nila. This was way back when, malamang hindi na P25 ang gelatto nila ngayon.

I had to pass by Pedro Gil area today and discovered may Volare pala sa Robinson's Place Ermita. Margherita Pizza is really, really good! Taste best when fresh from the oven, and they have a brick oven right in the store! Spinach Canelloni ( forgot the exact name ) was just good ( tasted the same dish at the original Amici's in Makati when it was still run by the Don Bosco priests, for some reason it tasted better back then ) and not heavy on the stomach. I didn't like their Lemonade. Their P50 gelatto was really good ( ordered Snickers flavor).

Food staff were very, very courteous and attentive.

We had to wait for almost 45 mins(!) for two of our orders last Wednesday at Amici ATC. With their place less than half filled, lapses still occurred in their system of communication with the kitchen crew. They offered two cakes for free to appease us. That wouldn't stop me though from warning you folks not to trust their service too much. Save for this one glitch, their food still tastes great.
