hi.. we visit our relatives in pili, camarines sur every summer. all i can say is that i love bicol. everything about it.![]()
i've seen the feature of TVP about Caramoan Peninsula. whoa! it's a very nice place, parang palawan din.
it made me more excited to plan my getaway to Bicol.
im goin back to legazpi tom
hopefully go back to donsol, sorgoson too and finally get to swim wd d butandings![]()
so can anyone here suggest an itinerary? want to see mt mayon, best beaches, go whale watching in sorsogon, and of course experience the night life and meet sweet bicolanos!!! and the rates na rin of the pension/ hotels/ inns para i'll have an idea.
popgirl...if you want to go to legazpi you may want to get on the plane or take a bus about 12 hrs ata for not more than 600 ( i tnk)...i usually stay there in legazpi tourist inn 800/twin. from the airport or within the city you can already see the majestic mayon volcano. visit cagsawa ruins na din for a closer view, dto ** yung natitirang belfry ng isang lumang church..there you can also but souvenir items like bags, pili nuts, candies, etc...ako, i usually go gaga over the native bags you can buy them for 80-120 depende sa material though meron na ring almost 300...praktis kang tumawad ..madami din to sa satellite market sa city proper.
cagsawa *** is about 20 min. ride from the city, outside of lgazpi tourist inn may mga jeep na going there abt P9 ata ang fare...
sori but i haven't been to any beaches in bicol.
i've tried the whale shark interaction though...i just came from there tday *** (mnday)...from legazpi you can take filcab (van) to donsol, may terminal nila sa satellite market...around p60/ 1 hr. trip...make sure you go early morning kse umaga *** daw mdaming butanding..though i was lucky to spot 4 whales even if i got there mga 2pm na....usually the rate is 2500 max 7 pax plus 100 each na registration fee. look for mr jun principe, sya lagi guide ko mbait na magaling pa ****...i have a friend there na local *** i managed to get a local transaction 1k *** bayad ko 2 ***...be sure to swim, mas magaling ang interaction if you go down...medyo scary *** at first kse ang lalaki **** nila...but later nasanay na din ako and even managed to touch its tail...buy your underwater cam na sa city sa kodak kse 320 ***, pg dun ka bumil tg 600 na
sobrang taga **** sila...newei the adventure is always worth it....pg uwi mo, alis ka kaagad kse 4pm ala na filcab pa legazpi...i dnt recommend that you stay overnyt in donsol kse la **** msyado mkikita dun eh.
hi all!! i'm from gubat, sorsogon. Rizal Beach is about 5mins from our house and walking distance lang ang dangkalan beach. for those people who want to stay in Rizal beach, meron naman pong resort dun where you can stay overnight(s).. if you want a cool place (i mean really cool!!) to swim, you must go to "Orok." sobrang lamig ng tubig. pag-ahon mo, sobrang presko ng pakiramdam. best part of it is the very expensive entrance fee of Php 2.00! hehehehe!meron din kaming pinupuntahan ng mga barkada ko dun sa may papuntang bulusan na may hot water coming out from the mountains. bale sa tabi mismo sya ng dagat then maglalakad ka ng konti to reach the place. para syang bukal pero mainit ang tubig na lumalabas... its good for people especially the old ones kasi nakakagaling daw sa kung anu-anong sakit sa katawan (rayuma).. hehehehe!
but you can't dip in coz maliit lang yun and kailangan mo ng tabo para makaligo dun.. hehehe!
sa mga pupunta ng sorsogon you can talk to me and hopefully i can tour you there!![]()
andito ako sa bicol ngayon...
dito ako nagwo-work, 2 months na...
(i'll post pics pag may time)
been to tabaco, bacacay , malilipot, sto.domingo, daraga, camalig, guinobatan, ligao & oas...
dami ding magagndang bicolana...
ehehehe...
we're planning to go to Donsol around Feb... i just dunno where to stay. im thinking 4d3n for whale watching, see mayon, pasalubong shopping... and what else? nabasa ko dito marami beaches pero nalilito ako how to get to all of them.. hehehe
i saw hotel venezia's website and sabi, 2mins lang raw to from the airport and its near the mall/s, etc. this true??? okay ba dun magstay? medyo mahal sya compared dun sa ibang namention dito pero wala na ako makita online eh.
have you heard of avenrose suites?
need your suggestions please! im really excited kahet na 12 hours yung triphehe
thanks!
try niyo yung Buang or Dheo Endeca basta something like that. Parang valley sha tapos spring water yung tubig sa pool. Ganda ng view(s).
We are planning to go to donsol this april 29. And surely, we'll be doing some trips in albay. What place would you recommend to us? Thanks.
Donsol Beach House for rent
We have a brand new beach house in Donsol, Sorsogon which we hire out. It's a furnished 3 bedder with a private beach for your personal use. The house is 400 metres away from the 'city centre' of Donsol. The property comes with a private butler who will keep the house in spic in span in the duration of your stay. The butler has a wealth of local knowledge and will direct you to various 'hidden' treasures that tourists are oblivious of. There is a beach 30 minutes by catamaran off DOnsol that is called 'Puting Baybay' and the sand is comparable to any White Beaches you'll find in the Philippines sans the pollution and the tourist influx.
The annual 'Butanding Festival' is celebrated in April1-24. Donsol's fiesta is on the 3rd week of May. So, the quaint little town will have much to offer during the summer season.
You can find the house on http://www.geocities.com/mocchachill...solhausJPG.jpg
