Next step is to get permits from your city. For Makati, procedures are listed here.

A surety bond is like an insurance policy - you pay a premium and the bonding company (usually also an insurance company) issues a bond which the beneficiary may claim against in the event certain conditions specified in the bond are violated. The premium paid is less than the face amount of the bond.

  6. #6
Surety bonds are usually required of contractors by their customers. I doubt if a bond is a requirement to get permits, though.

Lightbulb business name registration and business license

Hi sentiments. i'm also in the process of starting my first biz. nakakakaba. how did this biz of yours perform?

Ok, I can answer your questions =) Kasi i have an IT business (work from home eto ha). To put it simply tatlo lang kelangan mo:

    1. DTI:
Kelangan mo iregister yung business mo dito. I forgot the exact amount pero maliit lang. Natapos ko eto same-day. I suggest you do it in the morning para tapos ka agad.

    2. Business Permit from your city/ Mayor's Permit
    - In my case sa QC ako kumuha. Sobrang daming requirements... electrical, fire, locational, etc. Nabwisit ako kasi work from home lang ako tapos ang daming requirements.

    3. BIR
    - Eto na yung last step. Required kasi yung DTI at Mayors Permit.

** After my adventure... narealize ko na *** quezon city hall yung pinaka corrupt. Maayos *** DTI at BIR.

Sabi nga friend ko dapat DTI lang ginawa ko.... come to think of it tama nga sya hehe.
