    to all!

I just want to ask, we ar holding one-way ticket from Manila to Vietnam (HCMC) and exit the country to Siem Reap through the express bus and go directly to Thailand afterwards. Since we only have one-way ticket entry to Vietnam, are there problems in the immigration regarding it? Or we just have to show our flight ticket back from Bangkok to Manila.

    Thanks in advance

Vietnam is a rice producing country. In fact, it is already supplying Philippines of its rice needs. You can eat rice as much as you want.

There is no McDo yet. But you can have KFC in Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi. Also, Jollibee is available only in Ho CHi Minh.

I think your one-way ticket will pose no problem from Manila to Vietnam. I believe our immigration guys will be the one to give you "problems" by asking you insignificant questions about your trip.

But as long as you have a "return-trip" ticket to show the immigration officer, it will be all right.

i don't think it matters kasi nagawa ko na mag-manila-bangkok-penang-kuala-lumpur-singapore-kuala-lumpur-manila dati, and wala naman naging problem with the one way ticket to bangkok. kung hanapin na lang sa yo, just be ready with your return ticket to manila.

    Hi..

We will be arriving in saigon/hcmc on june 7 aproximately 9am... according to the website where i book our accomodation, we have to take bus no. 152 going to our hotel located at district 1 Bui Vien st...

    questions:

    1. Is bus no. 152 accepting USD or better change it to Dong while at the airport?
    2. How's the exchange rate at the airport?
    3. Is there an afternoon halfday tour to Cu chi tunnel?
    4. Is it possible to have a 1 full day tour to phomn phen cambodia? I was checking the bus schedule i don't think that is possible.
    5. Is there a terminal fee at the vietnam airport?

    Thanks a lot

    1. I'd suggest getting dong as soon as possible. It's much more convenient that way.
2.The exchange rate in Vietnam is regulated and should never stray too far from 16000 dong to a dollar. So if the airport exchange rate is about that much you're good.
    3 and 4 I'm not sure.
    5. There wasn't any kind of fee in Noi Bai airport, but that's in Hanoi. Not sure about Ho chi Minh city.

From hanoi you can also go to Halong Bay within 3 hours. That may be the deciding factor for someone deciding between the 2 cities.

went to Hue-Danang-Hanoi-Hai Phong-Ha Long Bay thru Road No. 9 from Mukdahan (Thailand)-Savannakhet (Lao PDR) route. it was a long arduous land trip, but it's all worth it. especially after seeing Ha Long Bay, no wonder that it's a Unesco World Heritage site.

im heading to hanoi sometime in december and was wondering kung saan maganda tumira at ilan days na tama lang vacation mo doon...I availed of the zero fares kasi of cebu pac which gets me to Hanoi 1245 am ata then my out is BKK na...so 1 week ako sa Hanoi and BKK..iniisip ko ilan days ang ok na sa hanoi para sa attractions nila..

nabasa ko rin kasi rto na grabe raw taxi drivers nila..i would be arriving early am, is it a good thing to arrange a hotel pick up at reliable ba hotel pick up nila sa hanoi, since ive been hearing some bad stories from the net with regards to transportation in hanoi.

sana may makabigay ng feedbacks un nakapunta na ng hanoi, thanks..
