Hello, I've read your blog and your 2 trips to Vietnam. Thanks for sharing, very helpful... Anyway, I hope you can help me, I did my back reading, I just want to clarify a few things. Since we'll be going to siem reap at 6:30 am, ok Lang ba to stay at the departure airport until 4 am? After 4 am, we will be at de tham st, nabasa ko rin here na open ang EDEN Cafe ng 24 hrs, dun Sana namin Balak nagstay while waiting for the sinh tourist to open. Open ba talaga sya at that time, or any recommended na coffee shops or resto na pledge mag stay. I hope you can help me. Thanks

That's what we did when we arrived in Ho Chi Minh... Papalabasin ka nga ng ariport at around 2am, but you can stay outside, merong mga bench.

Hi! According to my friend, pinaalis daw sila sa airport. Not sure lang kung sa departure or arrival ng airport sila nagstay nun or sa loob or sa labas kasi may mga upuan din sa labas. Siguro you can try staying sa departure. I'm not sure where Eden cafe is.

Thanks talaga sa help, after our tour, I'll post here Kung anong nangyari

for those who are planning vietnam trip, try nyo din pumunta sa Da Nang City, sya yung pinaka centro ng vietnam, malapit sya sa Hue & Quang Nam Provice. pwede kayong mag tren, bus or by plane (jetstar, viet air or vietnam airlines) from Ho Chi Minh or Hanoi.

Will be spending 4 days in Vietnam. 3 days in HCMC and 1 day (overnight) in Mui Ne. I plan to buy 735,000 VND/pax (or approximately $36) upon our arrival in HCMC airport. Too much or too little?

Will be using the VND to pay for:
    -cab fare for city tour
-entrance fee sa War Remnant Museum
-1 or 2 sled rides in Mui Ne
    -Tips
-600,000 VND for food (budget for 150,000 VND a day for lunch dinner and snacks, we have free breakfast)

I understand that they accept dollars so will be paying in dollars yung for hotel, tours and bus rides.

    Would appreciate your thoughts.

I had to wait at the airport kasi i needed to wait for my sister who was coming from singapore. Imagine, we landed around 1am Vietnam time and I had to wait for my sister's arrival at 6am. That's 5 freaking hours.

May snack bars naman just outside the airport na open until mga 2-3am so you can just hang around.

I suggest dagdagan mo yung budget mo per person. I think maliit yung budget mo for food. Kasi kami nagagastos namin for food was around 80k per MEAL, pero kain talaga yon.

Just be ready with giving tips, alam ng mga locals kung turista ka and they will defo ask for bigger tips, madalas sapilitan pa.

Same din pag punta kayo market nila. If you see something na hindi mo naman talaga gusto, dont bargain or else they will make a scene and you will be forced to buy. A lady grabbed me on my wrist and wouldn't let me go while 3 others were shouting at me at the same time. Tawaran mo lang pag gusto mo talaga bilin.

I also suggest that you buy VND directly from your hotel or from a bank.

Why will you be at the departure area of the airport if you want to take the Sinh tourist bus to go to Siem Reap? If I were you, just hang around Pham Ngu Lau area (where Sin Tourist is) and enjoy the night life there. Yes, you'll find 24hr coffee shops there, even some resto/bars.
