Pauleen malapit nang magkakaliskis sa kakakain ng isda

Payat-payatan si Pauleen Luna nang makita ng press sa presscon ng Iglot at dahil ‘yun sa fish diet, kung saan, puro isda lang ang kanyang kinakain. Nagbiro nga itong tutubuan na siya ng kaliskis sa kakaiba niyang diet na effective at hindi na kailangang gumastos ng malaki.

Ipinagmalaki nitong nang mag-dinner sila sa Marriot Hotel last week, napigil niya ang sarili na hindi kumain ng lechon at dessert. Wish nitong mapanindigan ang kanyang fish diet forever.

Kontrabida ang role ni Pauleen sa Iglot at bilang si Vesta Santana, kailangan niyang ibahin ang acting sa mga naunang kontrabida roles na ginawa na niya. May peg daw siya, pero hindi binanggit kung sino.

Kasama niya rito ang ex na si Marvin Agustin, pero si Luis Alandy ang object of her affection. Saka, matagal na raw silang okay ni Marvin at dahil kilala niya ito, kahit may eksena sila, alam niyang magiging

Kung maraming talents ng GMA 7 ang naglipatan sa ABS-CBN tulad nina Toni Gonzaga, Angel Locsin, Jake Cuenca, Paulo Avelino, at Iza Calzado to name a few, marami rin ang nanggaling sa Kapamilya Network ang lumipat sa Kapuso Network tulad nina Jolina Magdangal, Marvin Agustin, Heart Evangelista, Claudine Barretto, Paolo Paraiso, Geoff Eigenmann, Pauleen Luna, Glaiza de Castro, at iba pa.

Sa surprise birthday dinner para sa actress and workshop teacher na si Beverly Vergel na ginanap sa isang resto-bar sa Greenhills, San Juan last Wednesday evening, nakita namin ang bagong inspirasyon ngayon ni Bossing Vic Sotto na si Pauleen Luna. Ang payat nito ngayon unlike before na namimintog ang katawan.

Ayon sa TV host-actress, may kinalaman sa kanyang pangangayayat ang kanyang pagkakaroon ng cysts sa kanyang ovary na malamang maging dahilan para hindi siya magkaanak.

Marami ang hindi nakakaalam na si Pauleen ay discovery ng actress na si Beverly. Estudyante siya noon ni Bev sa summer acting workshop at siya na rin mismo ang nag-recommend sa bata pa noong si Pauleen kay Johnny Manahan ng Star Magic. Si Pauleen ay napabilang sa Star Circle Batch 11 kasama sina Carla Humphries at Glaiza de Castro.

Although magkasama sina Pauleen at Pia Guanio na ex-GF ni Vic, wala umano silang gap sa isa’t isa dahil magkaibigan sila. Pero itsinika ni Pauleen na hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa rin nag-uusap sina Vic at Pia kahit magkasama sila araw-araw sa Eat Bulaga.

Samantala, nagtataka ang marami kung bakit hindi gaanong naaalagaan ng GMA si Pauleen. She could have been a big star by now kung nabibigyan lamang ito ng magagandang role at proyekto.

Happiness is Pauleen Luna

Life is not perfect but GMA-7’s perennial kontrabida sees it as half-full—never half-empty. And with profound gratitude for all her blessings, the beautiful actress seems poised for more good graces to come.

One look at 24-year-old TV host-actress Pauleen Luna brings one word to mind: happy. Not giddily joyful or blissfully happy—but happy in a serene, comfortable-in-her-skin way. And the best thing about it is that this state of being seems to come from a feeling of contentment in all aspects of her life.

And profound gratitude. Pauleen is wont to constantly count her blessings, not the least of which is her work. She currently co-hosts the longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga (EB). A few weeks after her GMA-7 soap, Magdalena,ended,Pauleen was cast in a new afternoon drama show, Unforgettable,where she plays villainess to the characters portrayed by Mark Herras and Kylie Padilla.

And to top it all, she’s a celebrity endorser, pitching for some of the more popular beauty products and garment labels.

Yes, to use a tired old cliché, everything’s coming up roses for Pauleen—even in her personal life. The young woman has found true friends—and love—in her Eat Bulaga family.

“I have a few friends outside show business,” Pauleen points out. “But these guys (her EB co-hosts), I see them every day eh. I can really call them my friends—’yung hindi ako ipapahamak. Pag magkaipitan, hindi ako iiwan.”

She asserts that in Eat Bulaga, there are no personal conflicts. “Mataas kasi ’yung respeto namin sa isa’t-isa. ’Pag nakita mong medyo mainit ang ulo nu’ng isa, medyo iwas muna. We give that person some space, some time to breathe. Siyempre, hindi naman pwedeng every day is a happy day, eh.”

Small wonder Pauleen has been on EB for eight years, more than enough time to fortify her ties with her co-hosts. With EB, in fact, she has found her second family. “Sobra-sobra kaming mag-intindihan,” she beams.
