Wow sir niche kung niche!

Honestly, this is the first time I've heard on the first two (Philosykos not even considered due to my aversion to anything coconut! lol but thanks anyway). The Tauer looks interesting with the aromatic top notes along w/ some of my fave notes (cedar, vetiver) and ambergris! in the base. L'Humaniste tho looks more like my style but the closeness w/ Chanel's Edition Blanche is kinda a downer to me seeing as I have Bleu from the same house. Lastly, Montale's Black Oud I don't see a similarity to POAL (at least on the notes) I was looking for the rose + raspberry combo of the latter. But very good suggestions nonetheless Question: Do you know if the brands above are carried by Sephora / Macy's? I would prefer something not too hard to find. Thanks!

kala ko kasi yung hinahanap mo yung wala yung mga unique na worth the price tag. medyo mahirap nga lang silang hanapin kadalasan online lang. They are popular to fragrance community for good reason.

About the black aoud, actually I haven't tried FM PoaL because I can't find it anywhere, it is a unique scent as they say but the rose and incense vibe resembles the one in BA, I read it somewhere maybe in basenotes before.\ you can also check Noir de Noir by Tom Ford but I think they are in the same price range. I don't think they have it in Macy's and sephora. Goodluck to your search.

One day, 3 shops, 3 full bottles, 21 decants, crazy sampling, olfactory overload.

I went crazy sampling last friday went to 3 shops looking for some requested scents and wanted to add ONE bottle in my collection unfortunately I end up with these:



Le Labo Vetiver 46 (100ml)
Le Labo Iris 39 (100ml)
Bond No. 9 Gramercy Park (100ml)

18 Bond No. 9 set (8ml ea) interested in : Chinatown, Coney Island, Chez Bond, Wall Street,Little Italy and Hamptons
Designer sample decants: 5 ml ea: Burberry London, Terre de Hermes, D&G the One

Though I haven't found what I am looking for that day (pure malt and spicebomb) to that 3 shops, my nose is pretty satisfied. One shop even put like 30 bottles in my table to sample of their rare niche line and wow to Clive Cristian X and No.1 (the most expensive perfume on earth) lol
I pretty much like their essentric line (molecule 02 and 06), by Killian (Prelude to Love and Black to black), Tom Ford (Lavander Palm!) and the lhouse that I have never heard before: M. Micallef that I think belongs to the higher end niche houses, they have a very nice line of perfumes with beautiful bottles very interested to their version of Aoud (homme) which is very pleasant to my nose.
Even tried houses like Dsquared, Guerlain, Hermes and L'Occtaine.

To cut the story short I have to reset my visit to the shops who carry Dyptique and Montale..

There's Tommy Bahama Classic and I think St Barts (this is the clear one, yes? yung parang Sprite na may wooden stopper? hehe) sa Planet Perfume Galleria. Unboxed. Not sure 'bout the authenticity, so ingat na lang. Php2,000 per.

i think i know who you were referring to. nakakatawa jan kasi minsan nagtanong ako kung magkano, kunwari may tinawagan pa sa phone para ask yung price eh obvious naman na wala siyang na-dial na number.

FYI: I have the ff except for Antaeus.

Allure - Sweet combo of ginger, vanilla with a very little hint of citrus.
Allure Homme Sport - Same DNA with Allure but fresh citrus is noticeable but not too fresh to considered a sport frag. IMO.
Allure Edition Blanche - creamy lemon pie is the best description for this. yummy
Platinum Egoiste - Metalic Floral with sting.
Bleu De Chanel - its appealing. next scent pls.

Not for kids at heart.
Pour Monsieur - light citrus with beer-ry malt smell. for gentleman only.

Classics scents. It takes a lot of confidence to pull this off.

Egoiste - warm florals with cinnamon. slightly aromatic with depth, its choking me.
Antaeus - not yet tried.

Les Exclusifs - very worth trying.
