My vote goes to bleu de chanel. Though I havent tested it extensively, tested it once and it was pleasant. Right now im loving allure homme sport. Thinking of making it my signature scent, kaya lang its kinda expensive.

james, try it on your skin then walk around with it. if possible try smelling it after you've sweated. Each individual have different gene therefore our skin's reaction is different from one another.

You can always read those "notes" and whatnot online. They are everywhere.

Bleu de Chanel is anything but boring. Upon initial sniff, yes, it might give you the impression that it's a tad generic albeit a very good-smelling frag esp. when tested on paper. I'm a proud BdC owner and I can vouch that the frag shows you its complexities on REPEATED wearings. The grapefruit/mint combo in the opening is just the icing on the cake. Some days it can be a vetiver frag, some days you get this 'I-got-this-new-shirt' vibe, and for some, a musky, straight-from-the-gym scent. It definitely is a versatile frag that transitions well from day/office to night. And considering the rising temperatures as of late, BdC shines more in the heat. Not a paid advert lol

Difficult to acquire but worth every penny. I can smell the exclusivity.

@5110 How does Sycomore fare in the heat? In the Exclusifs line I'm most interested in Eau de Cologne. Nice suggestions by the way, but im not so big of a fan of Guerlain Homme Intense.

@RandomAsianGuy It's perfectly normal to ask others' opinions on a certain perume esp. if you don't have the luxury of testing it. But by no means this and only this should be your deciding factor. Personally, when i'm eyeing a perfume to purchase, tingnan ko muna kung 'match' ba sa personality ko *** scent, read online reviews then if available, sampling will go last.

If you want to be a bitc* this summer: Cristalle EDT - the ultimate hot weather perfume perfectly suitable for guys! I read some reviews online, ma-test nga sa Rustan's hehe

Exclusivity is just all in the mind.

If you wouldn't mind, here are some of my suggestions.

Chanel Pour Monsieur Concentree' - Top, it smells like light "beer-ry" appeal with small amount of citrus. As it dries down, it becomes soft powdery citrus on your skin.

Guerlain Homme Intense - To my nose, it smells like Pineapple and rum with a little hint of mint on the top. Mint gives its cool feeling and rum gives its manly freshness.

Lalique Encre Noire - very very deep rich smoky vetiver. for me, its complex but worth trying.

nakakatuwa naman na may small fragrance community tayong mga pinoy. nagsearch kasi ako ng perfumes na pwede kong idagdag sa collection ko sa nalalapit kong paguwi dyan sa pinas, tapos ayan nag backread ako ng more than 100 threads hehe.

pasensya na medyo nagkagulo sila at inilabas ko sa wardrobe at may mga natira pang designers dun. tapos nagkumpulan sa gilid yung iba. hehe yan ang mga current favorite ko,lalo na yung andun sa gitna.

yung nakabox e di ko pa binubuksan kasi mukang di ko naman magagamit ngayon kaya reserve muna kung kelan gagamitin (amouage reflection man)

I like fresh scents *** suitable naman siguro yang mga babies ko sa climate natin no?

My next purchase maybe from creed/by kilian/ montale/ CDG/ anick goutal. Any experience with these houses? dapat pwede satin dyan sa pinas. sa nabasa ko medyo popular yung creed MI/aventus/smw/OS, chanel allures/bleu/exclusifs, bond new haarlem. Im thinking my next purchase will be my scent for a date with this very special girl (in manila). any thoughts? btw im 28 (kaya wag naman yung amoy lolo)
