Advisable bang pumuntang Pagudpud by car?
Also, I've read that by bus, it takes 8-10 hours from Manila (including stopovers) to reach Pagudpud. Eh kung by car, gaano kaya yun katagal?

spin: 11 hours by bus to Laoag City, another 2 hours 2 Pagudpud.
Malamang 11 hours by car...
RCJ ata, but I think Maria de Leon meron din ata...Originally posted by sentiments
isa pa pung westyun......
anong bus from manila na papuntang pagudpud na dadaan ng vigan ? RCJ ba ganun? o iba route nya?
Suggestions lang...
MAHAL ang accomodation sa Pagudpud. Mag stay na lang kayo sa Laoag, then day trip sa Pagudpud, umalis nga lang kayo ng maaga. Yun ang ginawa ng pinsan ko
^^^ Yeah, this is a good suggestion, too. We did that two summers ago. Besides, hindi naman party beach a Pagudpud, so you won't miss out on anything if you decide not to stay there for the night.
^^ i totally agree...... yan ang gagawin ko sa susunod.......
meron ba kayo masa-suggest na mura pero ok na accom sa laoag....... oops OT na...
anyone going here this month?
may isa nga pala sa kin sinabi *** local dun na instead of taking the RCJ bus take the Rajah bus daw....... dadaan din daw un ng pagudpud...... di ko lang alam san *** terminal nila....... mas mabilis daw kc un keysa sa rcj......
sentiments, I stayed at the Palazzo de Laoag. Two years ago, we spent Php1,000/night for a room.
thanks lite..... may website sila or contact number?
Thanks Kuya Abulug! One more question, ano ba yung fastest way to Laoag then Pagudpud? Kung galing North Expressway, saan ang exit nun? TIA!Originally posted by AbulugAdventure

There are rooms in Loag that costs under Php500. Try looking harder. Use the local directory.

the tip of northen luzon... yeah! i was there during my college trip for a major subject at school damn that was almost 5 years ago, hay miss ko na yan! ang ganda ganda & take note lahat lahat yun cost 2700 only! mura noh? we organize with a resort that includes food na din & day tours... panalo. kaya lang sa travel time na 12hours grabe ang sakit sa ****! hahaha! the boracay of luzon!
one of the best beaches ive ever been to!!! Pagudpud is beautiful. Ganda, sobra!!! I love the fact na wala masyadong tao - privacy in paradise.
sharing lang...
i've been to Pagudpud twice na and i so loved the place so much.. first time we got there was just by accident. my cousins and i took a van and went on a road trip 4 summers ago and we were just planning to stay in vigan. however, puno lahat ng hotels/inns don and mahal naman yung iba. unknown to us, sumunod pala ang mga parents namin pero iniwan na nila kami when we got to vigan. since they too can't find a place. so they went farther north and got to pagudpud. when they learned we couldn't find a place din in vigan, sumunod na kami pagudpud (another 4hrs trip). we were all so tired and hungry, but when we got to saud beach, it was all worth it. we stayed there for two nights. so peaceful. wala masyadong tao, walang tumutunog na cellphone since out of coverage (though that time may smart promo don, hehe.. they were just starting to add cellsites ata don). bars there that time closed in as early as 9pm so we just bought two bottles of booze and drank by the seashore. katuwa nga since kami lang tao sa labas that time and there was only one lamp post na bukas sa may beach area so we stayed don sa may ilalim ng ilaw. haha. we went snorkeling sa gitna ng dagat and we went sa katabing island nito. astiig! very secluded ang ang sarap. humilata na lang kami the whole time we were there. we also made friends with some fishermen kaya binigyan nila kami ng mga huli nilang fish and lobsters at very low price. that's one thing you shouldn't miss there.. LOBSTERS!! we also got to ask a local priest there to hear tagalog mass for us since it was a sunday, dun sa chapel near saud. people are really nice kahit hirap sila makaintindi ng tagalog, at kami ng ilocano...going home we stopped at fort ilocandia and fortunately andun yung architect na friend ng tita ko so we got a free lunch at their chinese restaurant! best things in life are free talaga. hehe.. saka na lang kami bumalik ng vigan para mamasyal. best road trip!

a year after, i went back with three other friends since i wanted them to see north's beauty. we took a package (for only 4k each, 3d/2n) and boarded a bus to laoag. from laoag, dun kami sinundo ng car then namasyal kami sa sites ng laoag and pagudpud. we stayed in a house (tita ng tour guide)... fully-aircontidioned, w/ food (we were served with lobsters ulit! yumyum!). then everytime ihahatid nila kami sa batis nga ba yun? basta yung may malalaking bato and flowing water which comes from the mountain then goes down to the beach. sarap!! we also went to maira-ira (also called blue lagoon).. and we walked around the island for 2hrs that we almost got to the 2 islets on the middle of the lagoon if we weren't just too scared. we also went to saud beach to watch the sunset... sarap non. the tour guide and his relatives were so friendly and accomodating. we had the whole house to ourselves and may cook/helper pa kami. they'd bring us lunch wherever we have to go and hatid sundo din. sad to say, though they do not offer tours na ata. that time kasi the tour guide was just doing it as part time since they were saving up for his wedding. we were just so lucky we got them. all worth it..
and that's what makes me love pagudpud so much, i'd be willing to go back anytime...
hope you guys get to experience it, too![]()

been to pagudpud twice or thrice.. the first time.. I could barely remember since I was still I a child.. all i could remember was that of the biscocho.. my aunt bought for the trip.. I was sucker for the food.. anyway, the 2d time I went there, I was probably in my high school senior year. anyway, the waters were still pristine.. and I felt that I still want to come back for another time. The last time I went there (was last year) ..although the waters were still clear. there were al lot of seaweed lying around the beach. The beach was kinda dirty...but I still feel that I want to come back there.![]()
just got home from pagudpud, sobrang nice ng place!
actually, sa laoag muna kami nag stay, if ever you'll go to pagudpud, laoag muna kayo, then from laoag, less than 2 hours na lang naman ang biyahe to pagudpud. ok din kung commute kayo then night ang alis niyo, around 10:30 or 11:00, pwedeng rcj, farinas, or ma de leon. mas ok yun ma de leon compared sa farinas, kase it's cleaner and mas new. cost is 700 if may restroom inside the bus, 800 ,kung yun parang sofa bed ang upuan.
we stayed sa saud beach resort, ok namanfrom there nag boat kame to blue lagoon, sobrang ganda nung place.
punta na din kayo sa fort ilocandia, and lighthouse, akyat kayo dun, and also may falls na sobrang ganda, 45 minutes papunta and pabalik, i forgot the name of the falls, i'll ask my friend muna. adventure talaga yun
also, don't forget to eat sa C&E pizza house, sobrang yummy ng carbonara pizza nila and yun mga pasta nila.
