for now, we're on our finals today (TS agents). Then after that, we'll hit the floor to feel the environment until friday. Friday will be halloween costume something so i guess i will dress as NEO in the matrix. he3! i have the clothes and shades to show it...just to shake off my nervousness when we will hit production next week.

in reference to WEST, i haven't hit the floor yet kaya wala pa me masasabi tungkol sa WEST. ang naexperience ko lang eh yung ALLOWANCE at PAY eh hindi eksakto talaga. An HR person told one of our training mates as acting HR in our batch that the allowance isn't exact because....... frankly, they can't explain it much. i wonder why...... they say it's the system itself. hmm....

I was accpeted at WEST yet still undergrad from a well-known university. I was offered 13+1 as a TRS. It was my first working experience. WEST also provides its agents freedom to choose their own schedule from the available time provided by the HR dept. plus 20% differential if you'll choose the graveyard shift.

Karug sama mo naman ako dyan sa endeavour mong yan, tutal magkabatch naman tayo eh... Hindi ko na masikmura ang mga kabalbalan dito.... Professionalism daw ang gusto i-promote ng west eh Potah bibihira ang taong tratrato sa iyo in a professional manner... Siguro nga dapat na natin lisanin ang West... Puro palakasan dito, kung hindi ka galing e-telecare hindi ka mapropromote, plus if you don't know how to kiss a$$ ala ka sa sistema. I believe in the saying that promotions should be attained not because of who you know but because of what you know... Potah talaga......

#1, 3 mos pa lang me. pero dito, walang cash advance..

# 2, walang nag uumbagang sups at QA sa harap ko unlike other call centers.

# 3, nagbabayad ng sobrang mins if ur shift ended and may call ka pa.. bayad un.. kinompute ko...

# 4, SUPS sa TSR approachable.. QAs, Approachable.. Operations Manager? approachable... Site Director? Approachable...
# 5, di ko lang if ganu katagal ang contract ng WEST sa Elnk..

based on what the payroll person told me the Allowance paid to you is Php5.something every hour....so if you work 8 hrs in a day, you get Php40.something in a day....since the pay is every 2 weeks and within 2 weeks there are 5 working days that means you get Php400.something

Peor higit sa lahat para sa mga baguhan.... paalala lang .. *** ba e nagtanung-tanong sa mga trainers nyo na kung ano naghihintay sa inyo sa floor????? --->hay naku... sana naman magaling naging trainers nyo at talagang nakinig *** dahil kung d *** sanay, malamang pinakamatagal nyo na ang 3 days sa floor --->so tatagan nyo lang mga loob nyo ha.....

At paalala pa nga pala, 90% ng problem especially pag skill mo Win DU Tech support e d tinuro sa training, so sa floor nyo na matututunan... --->mag tanung-tanong ng d mangamote

tadz is our trainer and he covered much everything in our wave 19 class.

oh by the way, for the record, our batch got the most highest average grade in a class for the whole batches preceeding us. i don't know if that will hold on for the future batch but..... we'll see. we almost ace the test anyway so i guess theoretically, we excel in there. but on the experience side, I think we will manage...there's always pipol in our batches to ask for help anyway.

hinay-hinay lang sa mga pambabarang post po....baka kase masaraduhan nanaman tayo ng WEST thread.

ganito lang po yon, if you don't like WEST, no one is stopping you to get out from it. dami pa naman call centers dyan so doon na lang kayo maginvest ng time nyo na very worth it as you say. unless you use this thread to vent your pent up frustrations with the company. wala pang one year ang company kaya we have our own shortcomings.

graceana is right, pipol in positions are very approachable....and besides, PEX is monitored once in a while in WEST..... kaya nga ban doon sa WEST ang PEX eh.

well..... i'll vent my own experience in hir when i hit the floor on tuesday, 2 days from now.

our operations head was really very busy everyday but we we're entertained on the floor when we got our first live calls at the end of our training. our site man. even gave me a compliment while i was wearing my jacket on the training floor.

but since this just happens on our training days, i could comment more when i get on the floor on tuesday. for now, i have no grudge for them yet.
