lipgloss!?!?

pasensya na ah...pero what's the difference between lipgloss and lip balm? aren't they the same? what do lipgloss do to our lips?ang thin kasi ng line na nagseseparate sa kanila, di ko ma-determine...plus, anong recommended lipgloss na di masyadong pricey..i've fair skin kasi eh.i dunno which is which

lipgloss - gloss- shine

lipbalm- acts more as a moisturizer pero yung ibang lipgloss eh nagmomoisturize din.

hula ko lang yan at hindi ako sigurado.

lipgloss is for shine and luster in the lips. can be worn by itself or over a lipstick
lipbalm is more for moisturizing, relief for chapping. however, there are products which are like lipgloss and balm in one

Ang maganda sa lip gloss is that kahit anong complexion mo, pwede mo gamitin. Unlike lipsticks which have strong shades, lip glosses provides you with that nice healthy, shiny shimmery lips that looks like you just ate lechon Plus, kahit anong shade, you can easily wear it at any time of day.

I love MAC Lip Glass in Oh Baby and Lust.. they smell so good and kakaiba talaga yung sheen and luster nya sa lips. Sarap ngumuso Kaso ilang beses na ko nakakawala ng Lip Glass (nakakahinayang din at $13 each) kaya I tried looking for some cheaper alternatives. Ok yung sa Maybelline na Fruity Lip Gloss that comes in small tubes, they go at around P149, sa SM Deparment Store ko sya nabibili. Downside is mej sticky sya, but ok yung color and it leaves your lips really soft and supple. Ok din yung sa AVON that also comes in tubes (I think it's around 60-80 pesos). Nung una kse, dami pang laman nung Maybelline ko and may Lip Glass pa kong ginagamit, kaya I gave my AVON to a friend. One time, *** akong dalang lip gloss tapos nung nanghiram ako sa kanya, ayun yung binigay nya sakin, and ang ganda din nya pala sa lips! Sorry, kala ko chipipay lang sya, pero it's actually less sticky than the Maybelline, and ganda din nung shade nya. May bagong lip gloss nga pala akong nadiscover, Prestige Jetstream sa Beauty Bar. I was looking for Stila kse (sa Sephora ko to huling nakita, aorund $20 ata) na parang pen yung dating nya tapos may brush sa dulo, tapos ayun ngang Prestige lang meron sila. I tried it on, and I really liked it! Close to Stila types, but not it, pero naman at P295 (compared to $20 sumthin), ok na din sya... Smooth easy application, convenient to use, nice sheen and shade, and really yummy pa

i guess hindi ko na sasagutin yung 'what's the difference between lip gloss and lip balm' question dahil nasagot naman na ng mabuti. magrrecommend nalang ako

maganda nga yung sa body shop. lalo na pag hindi naman formal/ serious event. maganda yung Born Lippy lip balm nila (strawberry or raspberry!).. it's primarily a lip balm pero may gloss factor din sya, but not too much. parang lip balm/gloss combo. so it's perfect when you're just going to the mall or school, mga ganun plus, ang lakas ng amoy nya(promise, mapapansin ng mga kasama mo hehe)...as in strawberry/raspberry scent

maganda rin yung lip gloss ng red earth. a bit pricey, though.

^ yes, i use body shop's born lippy rin.. strawberry meron silang bago ngayon. gloss din, pero wala ng fruity smell. it's good rin, may shimmer...

i'm addicted to lip balms! i have the Eight Hour Cream from Elizabeth Arden and Prada as well that i got from Neiman Marcus back home in Dallas. but my favorite is Kiehl's Lipbalm #1. i think it's the best lipbalm out there. at $5 a pop, nothing beats it!

i prefect using lip gloss since it gives my lips sum shine... i love using Mac's Lip Glass in Lust. but when my lips become really chappy, i use sally hansen's lip therapy.

mine...i use born lippy of the body shop for casual use...sometimes i use nivea...i actually have blistex, but it didnt suit me tho..lol sayang P130 bucks ko

i use nivea cherry flavor it adds a tocuh of a little pinkish color in your lips...
