Tanong ko lang....how did you record the video of the 4d? Did you have to bring a blank cd or tape, or did the clinic provide that?
Thanks

Hi there!
Does anybody here know a clinic within Metro Manila that offers such service? And how much does it usually cost? Thanks!![]()
Is it worth getting a 3D or 4D ultrasound? Aside from seeing your baby's face, are there any other benefits? Will a 3D or 4D ultrasound detect anything that cannot be detected by a normal ultrasound?
just sharing my thoughts.... our OB required us for a 2d ultrasound and also recommended to have a 4d if possible, this was on the 7th month. the 2d ultrasound is required daw for monitoring purposes, this should cost around P700 more or less in ultrasound centers outside the hospital. but if financially capable, 4d ultrasound is better daw. if you perform 4d ultrasound, no need to get the 2d kasi kasama na yung supposedly results ng 2d sa 4d. we got our 4d ultrasound at fortmed, makati, at P2700 includes 1 picture and 1 video cd. extra picture costs P50 each. we got the pictures immediately after the procedure, got the results/readings after 3 days and got the video cd after a week.Originally Posted by fatbig
the advantages of the 4d is that you can see the features of your baby. i.e. facial features, complete fingers and toes, better view than a black and white screen. though don't expect too much on the 4d, its not like watching a colored tv, it more like watching a moving sepia photo. also, there are moments that the baby looks scary or deformed, this is due to the limitation of the camera sensors. =)
excited na kami ng hubby ko with the 4d of our baby. di naman kasi ni-rerequire ng ob ko masyado ang ultrasound, so we decided na 4d na lang instead na 2d ngayon (i'm in my 23rd week) tapos 4d naman after 5 weeks...
question lang po, san po ba meron mura lang na 4d? dati kasi nag-promo ang las pinas doctors hospital P2,000 lang kaso it ended last May. baka meron kayong alam na mura lang 4d sa hospitals malapit dito sa south pa-post naman po pati price and what's included in the 4d package. thanks!!!
is it really worth to have a 3d/4d ultrasound? so far yon mga nakikita kong mga pix sa net eh hindi naman ganoon ka ganda.
We live in New Jersey, and it will cost us $150 to $200 (p7500-10,000) depending on the package.
^For me, it's not worth exposing my child to any procedure that isn't medically needed. Even if it's libre I wouldn't do it. I just had one ultrasound on my 20th week to check if baby's growth is ok and when it looked fine, we didn't go for more sonograms even if we weren't gonna be charged for it anymore. Kaya we didn't know the sex of our baby until he was born.
Here's a link to the FDA warning against non-medical use of the ultrasound.

meron din sa healthway.. pero sa alabang branch lang yata nila ang may 4d..
Sneezy: Thanks for your info and your input. Hubby and I are still undecided. So far, I had 5 ultrasound. I was low in progesterone.
i had mine sa St. Claire's in Dian Makati. may print out ng pics and may cd with the video clips and pictures of my babies
i had mine awhile ago at the new medical city.. P3,900. cd is ready for pick up after 7 working days.the docs and staff were really nice, kaya di ka manghihinayang sa bayad.
Mura sana sa St. Claire, pero dahil sa Doctors fee halos konti lang ang difference sa Medical City.
Hi! Try nyo din sa Fortmed, Paseo de Roxas cor Gil Puyat. 4D ultrasound costs only 2,700 last year, mga November. I don't know lang if meron price increase. Mas magandang mag pa 4D kung 7 to 8 months na kasi makikita mo na talaga ang mukha nya, facial expressions, hay... tuwang-tuwa talaga kami. We couldn't explain the happiness that we felt that time.
Meron sila website: http://www.fortmed.com.ph/
ask ko lang, saang hospital na merong 3d/4d ulstrasound at how much...thanks
