But I say Chevron (aka Caltex asia) is the best among the four. I fit in here better as compared with my previous 4 employers.
it's good to hear you're enjoying your stay here at Chevron Holdings - new name ng Caltex Asia.

    nakabalik ka na from Bangkok?

I still remember the saying- ang maniwala sa sabi-sabi, walang bait sa sarili?

Anyhow, you can walk-in if you want to apply. Reception is on the 35th floor, Yuchengco Tower (aka RCBC Plaza Tower 1).

    Good Luck!

Caltex Phils. is a good company.

here are some info i'd like to share:

    1. may free cellfone ka nga, di mo naman magamit na pang personal.

    2. walang retirement benefit

    3. may credit card na binibigay ang company pero di mo nama pwedeng gamitin for personal use kahit babayaran mo naman yung expense.

    4. sobrang ma Pulitika... i know.... i know lahat naman ng companies may pulitika palakasan.... pero sobra dito.... pag pinag initan ka kahit magaling ka... patay ka sa performance appraisal.

and not to mention.... that the events management team sucks.
I don't think its fair to say that Caltex Asia sucks. Specially from someone who worked here. You must know that it is indeed one of the best employers. On a personal note here are some of the reasons why i think that Caltex Asia is one of the best employers:

    1. Yoiu have the liberty to do your job the way you want to do it. Of course as long as it follows the company's policy, but when it comes to execution the employees call the shots.

    2. Employees are provided with top of the line resources, from computers, telephones, internet access workstation set up supplies, etc.

    3. Trainings are in abundance, without any catch or hold on you. They can send you to a good training, and you can resign afterwards if you choose to. Unlike other companies, when they sent you to a training program, you will need to sign a contract that you can't leave the company for a certain period otherwise you will pay the training expenditures.

    4. Regular employees with good performance, can avail of the graduate education assistance program. Meaning you can take graduate courses (MBA) at company's expense at any school of your choice. (La Salle, Ateneo, UP, etc). With a bvery minimum holding period (3 months for every sem)

    5. Employees welfare are well taken care of. A full time occupational therapist is available in case employees experience work related injuries. One of the best equipt company clinic I've ever seen. Complete with wheelchair, oxygen tank, stretcher, medicines (not just paracetamols and antacids).

    6. Yearly flu vaccines.

    7. Recreational activities, (Company outings, halloween party, xmas party, team bondings) And note that these are superbly organized parties and activities.

    8. Fair performance evaluation process. For you are not only evaluated by your supervisors but also by the people you dealt with. Make sense, because if anybody would know how well you do your job its the people you directly interact with.

    9. Yearly bonus base on your performance, fair enough, if you don't perform you get less. If you perform you get much.

    10. Supervisors are approachable, its because of the equal footing environment. You can tell your supervisors directly your work related problems without fearing that it can affect you adversely.

    11. Chevron Holdings (Caltex Asia) is an equal opportunity employer

Punta kayo personal sa 35th floor. You need to fill out some forms. As of now, di ko alam kung anu ang opening (pero I am sure na marami)..

Pass na lang kayo ng resume- they would match it to a position that will suit you anyway.

    Good luck!

Im not really certain if there are openings sa field ng IT. Pero sa accounting field Im sure marami. But you might as well give it a shot. Go to the office directly and submit your credentials.
