Naniniwala ako, adultery is nothing but LUST or super low self esteem esp on the side of the mistress. Damn it... their doing it for love? hell no - u cant find the gratification of love in such instances!!! you can't love and feel the freedom in love when u know it's not right! plus, i spent my 25 years of life figuring out kung sino mahal ko and sila alam na alam na nila? No such thing! They know it deep in their hearts that what they have is only as good as it gets w time.

Hence i conclude, lust, super low self esteem and cheap moral values are what glues a mistress to a married man and vice versa.

well i respect your opinion kruek, but i dont think mistresses has low self esteem and has cheap moral values.... i disagree with you. yeah they might doing it for love, because they accepted their status ( to be the 2nd best), they know that its not right, but lets just respect their feelings, tao rin sila, dont judge them well its a case to case basis why mistresses exist di ba? not all of them is on a same boat right?

All I know is that adultery is the result of two people marrying someone that either person does not love enough to fight the marriage for.

correction po sa for Islam, legitimate wives po un hindi kabit at sa Islam they are following very strict rules when it comes to having multiple wives which samtimes impossible to follow kaya debateable parati ito sa mga Muslim Scholars lalo na sa Cairo at sa Cape town dahil daw parang may ibig pahiwatig ang rule na pinafollow kasi mahirap sundin, sabi ng iba kaya mahirap dahil baka hindi pwedng mag asawa ng higit sa isa.

Ay basta! No matter whose fault it is (the malandi at constantly kinakati at malibog na married man, the nagging wife, or the "other woman" who can't control her emotions), the fact still remains that extramarital relationships are NOT JUSTIFIABLE. For me, it's kinda useless to assess where the extramarital relationship stemmed from, whose fault it is, etc., because at the end of the day, it's just plain WRONG. also, the "mistress" has a choice in the matter. even if she's totally head over heels in love with the married guy, she can still choose not to pursue the relationship.
