Hi, i need feedback po sa pointwest..they've offered me the software engr trainee position, and they're letting me choose kung san training ko daw gusto...since im a fresh grad, i dont know much about the trainings of IT companies..ano po ba ang mas ok, microsoft or mainframe? Also, how's the work here? Hope someone can enlighten me because I have to call them back within this week..

I heared that mainframe is more marketable in the IT industry right now. I stiil have my friends left there, if you want, I can introduce them to you. Just PM me.

Kung plano mo mag Canada in the future, Microsoft.

    2. Interview. I tetext ka nila for an Interview.
    3. Phone interview. After ka nila interview ssbihin tatawagan ka nila for an Phone interview. You'll be lucky kapag tinawagan ka nila mga ""10:30 PM".
English dapat pero Taglish din naman ***. hahaha. better be prepared than sorry.
    4. Job offer. Offeran ka na nila. Accept it kung gusto mo. Kung ayaw mo eh di wag mo. whehehe

    Salary offered to me:
    10K Pesos - basic daw
    100 - Night diff

Hehe! I took the exam this morning and I failed! Hehe! Anyway, it's been a good experience applying there and taking the exam. Daming unfamiliar words sa akin sa exam! Hehe! R-W ang exam! Grabe! Saya-saya!

    Offtopic

This is off topic but i am hoping to find experienced developers here using c#/c++ (2 years minimum) This is for a permanent position based in Singapore.

Our client is one of the largest financial institutions globally, a UK based investment bank and has an IT hub based in Singapore.

Perks: They will be providing a relocation package for successful candidates. This includes your one time allowance, given in UK pounds (also adjusted if you’ll be bringing your family along) and housing for one month. Home search assistance will also be provided for after 30 days. Everything else from the air flight tickets and the working visa would be sponsored by the client. They can also cover the tickets of your dependents. This is not a project based/contractual position (so really, its less hassle and I dont know of any company in SG that has a relocation package)

For interested candidates, you may email your CV in rvillarico@yahoo.com. Qualified candidates will be called immediately.

    Thanks!

^^ open ka new thread for innerworks...

Pointwest is a great company to work with, gotta tell you.. One year na ko dito in two weeks' time, pero feeling ko I never worked a single day in my stay here.. (I'm a test analyst, BTW..) OK mga people, from the big bosses to the managers to my teammates.. I really learn a lot from the people I work with..

OTs depend kung saang project ka mapupunta.. In my project, we are authorised to charge OT kaya meron nga kong teammate na kulang na lang dito na sa opis matulog eh..

Pay is good (Well I'm a fresh grad when I came here and hindi naman talaga issue sa kin ang pay).. Usual 13th month, performance bonuses, adjustments, and all that.. The thing is, if you're craving for both challenge and fun, I'd suggest na you give yourself a chance to apply in this company..

I guess eto na lang muna..

  19. #99
