Surprisingly nung pumunta ako Siquijor-Dumaguete last weekend sobrang ganda ng weather.

Gemski,how did u handle the weird feeling that u might be encountering witchcraft effects while moving around Siquijor? Did u ever get scared?

Actually natatawa yung mga tao tuwing tinatanung ko sila tungkol dun. wala naman daw talaga. Ang alam nila daw sa Capiz nakakatakot. Hehehe. My driver sa tour dinala niya ako sa puno ng sobrang laki na balete nasa blog ko to. Tapos pinipilit niya dun ako sa ilalim ng balete. Pakita ko raw sa mga officemates ko. Yung place na pinag-stay-an ko sobrang ganda. Hehehe. I would say talagang medyo matapang ako. I do not discount the fact na may mga multo at aswang sa mundo because I would be very arrogant to say that sa laki ng mundong to na tayo lang ang being dito, di ba?

Sa coco grove sa gabi, yung mga curtains ko sa french door at window ko sinara ko.

Gusto ko lang i-add na hindi rin ako nagdadasal. I'm not an atheist, I think more agnostic. hehehe

Nakakuwentuhan ko yung mga waitresses sa Coco Grove. They told me that when they travel to other provinces they would deny that they are from Siquijor kasi pinagbibintangan sila na mangkukulam. Honestly, I found these people really nice. They would know you by your first name, and they make an effort to serve you well. Aside from the beautiful place, it's the people there who made my visit worth remembering.

Kundi natakot si Gemski at si Travelbug, e di rin ako matatakot. Paano naman kasi matagal ko na talaga gustong pumunta sa Siquijor kasi I'd been fascinated about that place e sa tuwing babanggitin ko sa mga tropa ko, everybody freaks out. Bahala na, pupunta ako don mag-isa. Gemski, where did u post yung blog mo na may photo ng malaking balete? I wanna read it if pwede lang po. Salamat.

^ the "witches" are in the mountains daw sabi ng driver namin doon, two hours away from the city. if you want to go there mag pagawa ng mga love potions etc., puede ka raw dalhin doon. xempre we didn't dare to try.

the balete is the 300-year old tree siguru. i remember dinaan din kami ng tour doon and nag pa picture pa talaga. yan ba yang parang may pond?

Haha! There's nothing to be afraid of. Ang standard joke nila tungkol sa mga witches? Lalaki lang daw ang mga witches doon. Delikado ka pag babae ka. After 9 months daw lumalaki ang tiyan nung nakulam.

Anyway, the place is really nice. Bihira din dito ang may kotse so medyo laid back talaga ang province. Actually babalik nga ako ulit doon sa November dahil nagandahan ako talaga sa place.
