    Keeping the thread alive....

Two famous paintings by one of the Great Masters, Raffaello Santi or simply Raffaello.

    Inside the Sistine Chapel

What do you think? I stood in front of these paintings at least 10 minutes-taking every detail into my memory

Having a hard time fixing our schedule, since we'll need to go on a 3-week leave! Sigh. Anyway, we were planning to go to the usual places: Rome, Barcelona, Paris. Then we'll also have Madrid, Venice, Nice, and Florence (and surrounding areas). I really want to go around Tuscany. I was only able to visit Barcelona and Paris before, but that was 5 years ago so I am so looking forward to going back to those cities. (Plus, I wasn't into football yet when I went - I think I will spend all my money of FC Barcelona stuff, )

I took a picture of this pair of ladies shoes kase I don't know how ladies could use this....where's the heel anyway?

Copenhagen, Denmark is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe and yet one of the most expensive...Please refrain yourself in shopping..the VAT and taxes are enormously high, though the citizens get a lot from their taxes..free education, superb healthcare, etc.

Everything is within walking distance, unless the cobble streets really affect you. Entrances to the museums such as Rosenberg Castle for the crown jewels and of course Tivoli Gardens are quite expensive but worth it naman..

The famous green line/demarcation line at the end of the Ledra St in Nicosia Cyprus. Nicosia is a divided capital, where the Northern part of the country touching some parts of the capital city belongs to the Turkish Government.

While the rest and comprising the greater part belongs to the independent republic of Cyprus, as recognized by the International community..

Norway is the most expensive country I've been to so far

I'll never forget the pasta I bought at the train station in Oslo (sold by the gram)... paid 19 NOK (approx P150) for this :

alam mo pushpop ang dami kong pictures before ng Sistine Chapel, before ko nalaman na may Pex pala and before blogging (am not really a writer, lolz!). When the Vatican Museum was closed already for that day, saka kami papasok, like 6pm ng gabi with a group, 20 of us. We had the best guide telling us everything at leisure kase kami lang ang nasa loob...In a way, medyo walang restriction when it comes to taking pictures...but sad to say, nag-crashed yung hardrive ko and nawala lahat..

This picture na tinutukoy mo was just a recent one and yes, you are correct...super strict nila. I was just sitting at the very back, in a way, saying a little prayer and then bigla kong pinahiga camera ko and boom...took a shot. I didn't check it until nakalabas ako ng Sistine Chapel. Nagulat ako kase di naman kasamaan yung kuha..hihihi

i guess, kailangan mong bumalik sa Sistine Chapel...not only to take a picture but to be there again :-) hihihi!

agree that Norway is ueber expensive! The whole Viking countries, Sweden, Denmark and Norway..I'll put Denmark on top, followed by Norway then Sweden. Hinay-hinay sa pamimili. The VAT is just enormously high. Lalo na sa currency exchange, laki ng komisyon! Good if you're a citizen of these countries kase nakikita naman yung kapalit ng napakalaking tax and bilihin...sagot hanggang college education, health care kahit may cancer pa isang kapamilya mo...they don't have this rotten culture of corruption

but as a visitor is different thing....

Euro-countries are generally cheaper than others. But it comes with territory and of course on the popularity. Major cities like Paris, Barcelona, Milan are often more expensive than Marseille, Rome or Sevilla...Supply and demand also will come into play.. Belgian chocolates are generally cheaper in Bruges, Ghent rather than Italy, France. Olive Oil is cheaper in some cities in Spain and Greece and could be the opposite too... Wines are cheaper in Italy than Denmark or Russia. You can also get good Vodkas and whisky from Russia and Scotland respectively with a cheaper price. I also find salami and prosciutto in France to be cheaper and yes, way better than others..

But like what I have said...most euro countries are less expensive in comparison to others. I personally find Italy to be cheaper than France and other countries...Belgium too and Netherlands are quite okay, I mean, when you really want to save, you can and still enjoy beers and other enjoyable things in life!

natuwa naman ako and kailangan ko talagang ipaliwanag sagot ko..lolz!
