TATTOO PARLORS? anybody?

hey!my bestfriend and i are planning to get tattoos.i've already had one done and i got it from a tattoo parlor in greenhills, sa may shoppesville.mejo pricey sha (800bucks) considering sobrang liit lang naman sha na butterfly. do you guys know a reasonable and at the same time, reputable tattoo parlor we could get our tattoos from?

the reputable ones i know of are in the bodyplace in robinson's galleria but i think they're expensive too... well, better safe than sorry, right?

yup, i've heard about bodyplace and i asked my friend to check it out nga... it's reputable, ya... pero sana reasonable naman. like i saw jeff tam's (*** guy sa ok fine?),tattoo artist kase sha. he guested in morning girls yata tapos he did a tribal design on this guy's lower nape and he says it's only 500, siguro mga 3x2 din yun pero it's all black lang... while mine... i'm happy with my teenee weenee butterfly, don't get me wrong. it's only .5x.5 and it's 800,sabi nga ng mga tao, mejo expensive... so there. anybody here got a tattoo?

I have one butterfly too & I have it done in West hollywood Sunset Strip Tattoo studio. It is 1 in x 1 and paid $80 that was 3 years ago.

tattoos are addictive dontyou think? aliw eh. but see, inaasar pa rin ako ng mga tao, yours is $80 dollars and it's 1x1, that's around P400 lang! while mine is P800 and it's .5x.5! grrr talaga! la kase siguro nag papatattoo sa panget na artist nayun! anyways...im excited to get my next ones! im planning to get it on my feet, littlestars lang and it would like form a border, basta, ganun lang sha,im excited! ay, la na ba talaga kayo alam na ibang tat parlors here?

why don't you guys share pics of your tats? I've always considered getting one or a navel ring but I'm afraid of needles and the whole "permanent" thing.. I know someone who had his tatoos removed (on his fingers) pero hindi na kasing-smooth yung balat nya sa area e. Ulp!

re parlor: try Avatar Arts, in Estrada St near DLSU Manila. that's Alfred Guevarra's shop. last i know he was the Philippine Tattoo Artists Guild president.

ei, bishop! haha,im sorry,i was thinkin right after i hit quickreply "did i just typed in 400?" i knew it was $80 the whole time but i was thinkin $8.. haha, *****. sorry po, that was around 1am,mejo groggy na.
anyways...
it all depends if you really like the design and if it's nicely done. you guys should also need to ask about the ink they use kase if you're planning to get a black tatt, and most of the black tatts tend to look gray in time, kelangan maganda yung quality nung ink. right now im still confused if im getting the stars or the cat silhouette instead. it's soooo hard to decide! hehe...

maria_puzo try mong pumili sa bullseye daming pagpipilian na design for your feet. All you have to do is print it out.

that's what my brother said! na he'd rather have a girl with a tatt than a piercing. well, to each his own nalang talaga diba? I've always liked butterflies coz they look so pretty, pero hindi ba medyo gasgas na sila? I mean, looking at the websites posted, there's a whole section on them. Haha actually, about my friend, it wasn't really familiarity breeds contempt... his mom saw them (they were near the knuckle area of his fingers) and demanded that he have them removed. Di nya lang alam may malaki pa shang isa sa braso nya

by the way, for those who have tattoos na, ever regret getting them? or any regrets in general?

nope,i like mine a lot,hindi nakakasawa...kase ba naman ang liit and i had it done on my right,upper pelvic bone on my mole,like it's hovering on it.hehe..i think butterflies are really a favorite.depende kase ang broad ng possibilities,like with the colors,design,etc...versatile naman butterflies.pede sha maging feminine or masculine depende sa design. :-) and oh, car728, does it go without saying that ur bro with rather have me? hehe.. just kidding. rock on!

no regrets here. i had mine made in Avatar Arts too. 2x2 sya na colored Cartman (from Southpark). for just 800 bucks. gehe! but that was 4-5 years ago pa.

Nope I like mine too & I would love to have another one on my lower back but I like yong may pagka or halong celtic design. Nakakaadik nga ang tattoo- consider it arts.

Maria_puzo mine is on my pelvic bone too center as in almost down there na - noong nagpatatto ako nagshave naman ako kaya lang shinave ulit noong artist. But my husband was there kaya ok lang. Hahhaha.

they didn't, i was screaming the whole time pero that was all to see if the artist would get irritated,hehe..or it's too small to even feel if it did really hurt. joke lang naman car728! hehe...
