Just arrived from China. First and most important tip: don't go on budget tours. Sobrang titipirin kayo. Mabuti na yung mahal yung package tour, huwag lang kayong tsaniin ng travel agency when it comes to food, hotel accomodations, transport, etc.
tnx a lot sa thread na to, m planning to go to xiamen to visit a frend in jimei univ this july. sabi nya okay na daw $100 for one week, il just bring her lots of pinoy food daw like pancit canton, sardines heheh.

hi, i hope to go to xiamen ds july for a visit ***. how soon shud i get a visa? i asked a travel agent here 1000 daw yun fee nila plus yun visa application for sa embassy na 900+ , is that ok? wala na daw iba attachments other than your pic, passport and application fee? yun agency na mgdadala ng papers ko, no more personal appearance. is there a chance na ma deny ng visa? tnx!
how much na yung china visa now? nag increase ba ng price?
For any international travel, your passport should still be good for another 6 months counting back from the date of expiry so if let's say, your passport's expiry date is Dec 31, 2005, then it is good for travel until end of June 2005.Originally Posted by PrEttyD0LL

requirements lang nila is the 1 page application form, 2 2x2 pictures and your passport. mabilis lang actually yung process pero you should try going there before 9am para mauna ka makakuha ng number.

if you want to know more about the requirements, you can call this number : Visa section - 848 2396/95 . Office hours of visa section from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM only.
Hi! Is this a tourist visa for China? How long will it be valid? Parang US din ba na may multiple entry type etc?
Do some hard bargaining... just ask for 30% of the quotation. Look around for the same item... never look eager to buy the merchandise.
yung nakuha naming Visa is valid for three months, i think multiple entries yun (im not sure about this though).Originally Posted by tofi
