orlino, saan sinabing matatapos na ang DAU? unfair naman sila dahil april lang ata nagsimula ito. dapat yung mga writers ang pinalitan nila dahil unfair sila kina vina at eula lalo na kay vina na matagal nilang pinilita magkateleserye tapos ganito lang ang gagawin nila. oh well, it's all about the money, i guess?

I FIRST took notice of Ces Oreña Drilon in the early '90s. She was just starting her career as a newscaster at ABS-CBN at that time. Actually, it was Charo Santos-Concio, then already a top gun at ABS-CBN, who called my attention to her.

We were on the set of a movie Charo was doing with Aga Muhlach and Sheryl Cruz. They were shooting a hospital scene. In the room assigned to Charo and company was a TV set.

When the newscast on ABS-CBN was aired, Charo called me to her side. She then pointed a finger at the newscaster who was delivering the news.

Charo blurted out: "Isn't she good (her finger still pointing at Ces)? Ang fluent niyang magsalita, 'di ba?"

I agreed with Charo. From then on, I followed the progress of Ces' career on TV.

I noticed the great change in her personality as the years went by. She looked even better when she cut her hair to its present length. Even the dangling earrings she wears when hosting her show on ANC, "Get Real," become her.

In any case, I avidly follow her shows like "Usapang Business," and "Pipol." Ces has been hosting "Pipol" (aired every Tuesday on ABS-CBN) for the last four years. According to Ces, "Pipol" was conceptualized by David Celdran, who is now one of the top guns of ANC.

"Pipol" presents the lives of noteworthy people: from the notorious to the inspiring, from the young to the old. "Pipol" shows the people we love and admire, hate and despise.

Ces is a member of ABS-CBN's current affairs team, composed of credible men and women who present news stories and issues. ABS-CBN's team sends hosts, reporters and correspondents even to dangerous places to gather stories and facts.

Most of the programs are aired after the late-evening newscast "Insider," anchored by Cito Beltran and Karen Davila.

Much-awarded TV host Boy Abunda hosts the Saturday night program, "Kontrobersyal," a documentary series on the most controversial people, places and issues of the day. Boy investigates and unearths the facts beneath the most scandalous personalities, incidents and rumors.

"Kontrobersyal" is presented and produced by the same people behind "The Correspondents" and "The Inside Story."
