hi.
my family and i have been to lilaw lots of times. my dad enjoys the cool water of the batis and the falls as opposed to the searing heat of the beaches.
liliw does not have classy resorts etc. tipong punta ka lang dun and you actually don' t have to pay entrance fee. minsan meron pero like P10 lang ata. tapos merong mga make-shift cottages dun where you can put your stuff. pero i would suggest if you leave all your important belongings in your car and bring a towel with you lang.
there are no overnight accomodations etc. liliw is perfect for a day trip only for those people who want to get away from the humidity of manila.
hope this helped!
i know of a place called liliw resort. Y2002, the entrance fee is P30/head. cottages range from 1,000 to 5,000. the one my cousin rented cost P2,100, with 2 rooms na.
from alabang, board a bus to lucena, or kung meron san pablo. get off at san pablo. then board a trike, pahatid na lang kayo sa terminal ng jeep bound for liliw. then trike ulit papunta sa resort.
-- Batis ng Liliw:I've been there few years ago, late 90's ,my barkada's Aunt own the place,so we got some discount, maganda yung place, kasi you can rent a "mini"-house na pwede kayo mag-stay over-night,yup,nag jeep kami from San Pablo, sabihin mo lang liliw, then from there may trycycle na,sabihin mo lang sa Batis ng Liliw.
saan 'to? pa'no makarating dun kung magko-commute lang?

We went there for the weekend, I would recommend Liliw Resort than Batis ng Liliw. Yung Batis ng Liliw, along the road siya, pero parang madumi siya.
Liliw Resort you can rent rooms, cottages from P1,000-P1500. Puwedeng dun sa tabi nung batas. Each cottage may sariling bathroom, kitchen, maliit na dining area. I would say it's worth it. May sarili din palang grill area ang bawat unit.
Okay siya pang family reunion. Expect the water to be freezing cold. Sarap magswim. It would help if you bring along aqua shoes kasi minsan masakit yung mga bato sa ilalim.
OO nga pala. There are no TV. So if you cant stand a day without TV, magdala ka ng sariling TV and VCD Player..etc. (porn VCDs..joke..joke)
Bring your own food. Puwede magluto. There are no restaurants inside. But the food is relatively cheap dun sa bayan, puwedeng magtricycle papunta dun.
Masarap ang food at cheap dun sa Liliw Fastfood, there are no Jollibee or Mcdonalds around. So dun sa mga karinderya. We tried Sisig dun sa isang karinderya (Aling Nene ata yun), okay siya. Caramelized yung onions, hindi freshly chopped. Okay din yung calamares.
It's easy to get around Liliw, pati hanapin yung Liliw Resort. It's a small town lang kasi.
Yung mahilig sa nature trip at cold water mageenjoy. I think it's a great alternative.
been there yesterday, side trip lang from lucban. accdg to the map, you can take the los banos-calauan-victoria-pila-sta cruz-magdalena-liliw route or the sto tomas-alaminos-san pablo-rizal-nagcarlan-liliw route from manila.
from gat tayaw street in liliw( shoes, sandals, slippers abound at very low prices!), turn left then straight lang till you come across the liliw resort signboard. you have to turn right doon. then follow the road signs na lang. they are located at Kanlurang Bukal, Laguna.
you can call them at (049) 5631-123. entrance fee is P50. Cottages range from P990 for Duplex G (2bedroom, 1 TB) to P5,500 for the Maranao coottage with 2BR, 2TB, social hall and attic. no food nga inside but you can ask Aling Polly from the nearby carinderia (at the parking area) to cook for you. we asked her to cook the canned goods we brought.
they also rent out elec fans for P100/day and utensils set at P500/day.
Medyo malayo iyong route via Los Banos - medyo ma-traffic din dahil sa LB. Mas gusto ko iyong Sto. Tomas route dahil mas malapit. Iyon nga lang, medyo ma-traffic din sa may San Pablo.
And, while you're in Liliw, don't forget nga to go to Gat Tayaw Street - isang buong kalye siya na puro sapatos at tsinelas. Went there over the weekend - nakakalula sa dami!!! Mura pa.
si lite talaga, kung saan saan nakakapunta. I bet you were also at Lucban last week
bendik - right on!![]()
hi guys!
my family just went to liliw yesterday. yes! my dad wanted to enjoy the freezing water kahit bagyo season na... he's weird that way heeheee... anyways, here's the low-down.
liliw resort. entrance = P50 (adult and child). tables = P350. merong mga cottages w/ flowers as names like rosal, sampaguita pero when we inquired mga P1500 daw. syempre day-stay lang naman kami kaya tables nalang. merong swimming pool that has running water from the lake passing through. very nice.
pero sobrang laming kahapon. we were freezing our arses off. kaya lang wala masyadong tao kaya masaya.
beware lang po. malayo ang liliw. 2 1/2 to 3 hours kung galing manila.
babay!

eddieGil: b4 we went there, i was looking for some sites too...pero nada.
