Kaya nga po nagtatanong, di naman po lahat alam ko, hamak na rank&file employee lang po ako at wala ako masyado alam sa mga sibakan na nagaganap . Tsaka nasibak ba talaga yang mga yan dahil sa recession or are there any other grounds? kasi kung lay-off pag-uusapan natin e di sana ginawa ng Emerson e mass lay-off na tulad ng ginawa ng ibang company, tsaka sana before pa yang mga yan masibak e di sana nauna na ko, hehehe. Kasi alam ko manager isa jan sa listahan mo, di hamak naman na nakapaginvest na company sa kanya kesa sa akin. Baka on other grounds nasibak. Wala lang, just a thought lang po. It's just a healthy discussion by the way. I guess di naman gaano apektado yung company dito sa Bansa (hope so... keeping my fingers cross).

yes that is true. to give you an aprox numbers i think 20-30 engrs. from process management.

and that is due to global crisis obviously.

i heard there will be more lay-offs in the coming months, according to some articles i've read in the net.

but if your looking for a good-paying and potential growth, emerson process is the best.

Fisher Rosemount Systems Inc ang registered company name ng Emerson Process Management na nasa OSMA. I'm not sure kung yan ang tinutukoy mong sa sykes. Other Emerson group na nasa pinas ay Emerson Electric and Emerson Network Powers... hnd ko na alam kung may iba pa

as far as i know EPM, Network Power, Industrial Automation, Cliamte Tech are all under Emerson Electric.. May 8 primary division ata Emerson Electric pero madami sub-group.. san kaya pwede lumipat division? advise naman kayo kung me opening sa epm other than rosemount.. hehe

I don't like the HR dept. of this company. Napaka-inefficient!

They called my husband for an interview. 1st interview palang, sinabi na ng husbang ko ang asking price nya. Then tinawag sya for a 2nd interview. Then tinawag ulit for an exam. Then nung tinawag sya for the final interview, sabi sa kanya sya daw ang may pinakamataas na grade dun sa group nila.

In the end hindi sya nakuha dahil masyadong mataas ang asking price nya. Dapat hindi na sya pinabalik ng HR for a 2nd interview and for the exam kung di rin pala nila kaya ibigay yung hinihingi nyang salary. Nagsayang lang husband ko ng panahon at pera.

^^paupau29, we're pretty sure that the reason why hindi natanggap yung husband ko for the position is because of his asking price. Ang natanggap daw kasi sa batch nila is the person with the least experience and sinabi rin nya sa husband ko kung magkano yung salary na in-offer sa kanya which was way too low for my husband.

Sana after the 1st interview di na sya pinatawag ulit para di naman nagsayang ng panahon and pera yung husband ko. He had to file for a leave from his current employer just to go to Emerson na talaga namang pinapaghintay sila ng HR. Hindi tumutupad sa naka-set na time.

i'm planning to apply sa emerson electric (yung nasa st. francis ave.) as tech support engr, or tech support prof, or tech support rep. mga magkano kaya salary? (pa pm naman kung ok lang hehe) aside from those positions ano pa ba pwede ko applyan? sa IT kaya? Pero yung hindi programmer or developer kasi hindi naman ako marunong nun. Salamat.

gusto ko lang sana humingi ng advice ninyo. how is it like working in IT support roles here in Emerson? is it challenging? will the experience here in Emerson make me marketable afterwards? is it rewarding financially? may growth po ba IT support people dito? can they venture into hard-core development?

kapag sinabi ba na maghintay ng tawag within a week, bagsak na yun? sinasabi ba agad ang next step kung pasado sa phone interview? sabi kasi pagkatapos ng phone interview, pwede ako mag follow up within a week. parang ayoko na tuloy mag follow up hehe.

i applied thru jobstreet for the csr position tapos kinabukasan may tumawag na. nung nag check ako sa jobstreet ng umaga, "new" pa lang yung status ng application ko. nung naliligo na ako, eksakto na tumawag yung hr para sa phone interview. sabi ng hr short interview pero 30 minutes pala (whew! at naka-towel lang ako nun dahil kakabuhos ko pa lang ng tubig para maligo ). pagkatapos ng phone interview, gusto ko na sanang withdraw application ko pero naging status na "under consideration" kaya hindi ko muna winithdraw. hindi ko alam kung ginawa nilang "under consideration" yun bago pa nila ako tawagan nung hapon. nung umaga kasi "new" pa lang yung status.

saan ba mapupunta pag csr post inaplayan, sa robinson summit o sa ortigas site? ok sana kung sa makati eh.

last question, malaki na ba ang asking price ko for csr kung hinihingi ko 17k-19k pero kasama na dun yung allowance? may more than a year na ako nag call center tapos may ilang years din sa isang non-call center company. salamat po.
