UP
Coming from a frugal potential client of these photography studios.
FACT:
The picture company and Blow up babies are positioned as a High end photo studios for "Babies & Children". So if you have a high paying job and don't care where your money goes. Most probably you'll end up being a member or purchasing the super expensive prints. Potential clients would probably those parents who would save up for the photography service.
WHICH ONE SHOULD I CHOOSE?
BLOW UP BABIES ofocurse.
so the question is why?
1. BUB is more artsy, shots are more alive. Due to graphic styling of the photos and fresh concepts. Compared to TPC shots with plain white background and you can't help but say "Hey i've already saw that concept" they probably manipulated the pictures but in a MINIMAL level.
2. BUB is cheaper by hundreds of bucks compared to TPC. Spec the membership BUB's 500 pesos cheaper.
3. consumer thinks that what they buy/purchase reflects to themselves. (Meaning, MORE EXPENSIVE=I FEEL/AM EXPENSIVE. Consumer may also be affected by the people around them, other people's perception of themselves)
This is just a thought for you guys who's struggling between the two.Just want to share my opinion!
But i absolutely agree with the past reply about "They should be cheaper because its digital" but at the back of my mind. I don't think they will not lower down there prices because consumers grabbing there services. They have a "niche" already, meaning not all of photography studios offer there service forte which is babies and kids.
But of course there's a lot of competitors out there that's worth your money.
That's why im going to try PIC A BOO this weekend.![]()
Sa Child's Play ok talaga. I actually used our pic taken there to enter the supermom contest. i think you'll find it here http://www.facebook.com/alagangsupermom

Salamat po!
Hi mommynigerl!

MY BABY STUDIO FEEDBACK @ LEE GARDENS
Share ko lang, bought a voucher at pilipinas best buy, My Baby Studio unlimited photoshoot for 1hr, located at Lee Gardens mandaluyong. I called them for schedule 2 weeks before. I have to call them sa cellphone to confirm. Dec. 12 was the scheduled date, 10.30am. We were there before 10am since malayo ako nakatira, from novaliches pa. Its almost 11am, and close pa din ang studio, I asked the security guard if what time nag oopen ang studio. So I was worried, I texted sabrina, no reply. Then called her up. Grabe, nakaka inis. She said hindi daw sya makaka punta. There was an accident and nasa hospital daw, I don't know kung sino yung na hospital. Pero she didnt even texted earlier para hindi na kami bumyahe.. we were on the road 8am. They charge P500 for "no show fee", maybe I should charge them for not showing up.
Resched date is last friday, 12nn. We were there past 12, good that they were open na. Proceeded with the photoshoot. Everything went well. Now, pahirapan na naman sa pag contact kay sabrina to follow up my photos and cd. Haay, I thought makaka save ako pero mas napalaki gastos ko. Sa travel time and gas, sana lang maganda ang photos ng anak ko. I find it so hard to communicate with sabrina, even sa pag pick up ng cd and photos, their office kasi is always closed, unless may sched ng photoshoot.
Went to their studio again, my photos were ready. When sabrina handed me the photos, I was soooo disappointed. Hindi man lang naka edit. Very poor quality print. They had their photos print at photoline, take note. Naiyak ako sa sobrang pangit ng print out. Very far from the photos I saw from their multiply site. She offered to have it reprinted, and told me that she will email me the edited photos. But until now wala pa. Sobrang not worth it. I felt robbed. I was looking for a photographer for my baby's upcoming first birthday, pero ganyan sila makipag deal.
Talaga? I'm so sorry to hear that sis. Kamusta ba yung regular rates nila? Super mahal ba?

Pansin ko na most baby studios are focused on the high end market.
Mayroon bang baby studios na mas middle to low end yung target? Ang mamahal kasi ng most baby studios :O
we had our baby's first photo shoot at The Stork Studio. A bit pricey but well worth it![]()
