iba yung sa yo. yung prickling due to shaving dahil nahihila yung pores mo pag hindi well lubricated ang skin mo when you shave or kung yung razor mo, hindi na sharp.

chicken skin din ako. Akala ko dati allergy lang sa pagkain, that's why I consulted a dermatologist. Sad to say hindi na magagamot dahil nasa genes ito, meaning lifetime ang gamutan . Niresetahan ako ng 2 ointments, expensive but effective. Dapat continous lang ang gamit, dahil kung tinigil bumabalik agad.

I also have that in my upper arms. My derma prescribed Oilatum or Dove as my soap, then Urea lotion after bathing and Hydrocortisone cream 2x/day. Plus she recommended that I take supplemental Vitamin A. I just started so i won't know for weeks if it's effective. It usually appears daw if you have skin asthma and precipitated by drynes of the skin.

These are the ointment na prescribed sa akin Betamethasone salicylic acid Diprosalic and Physiogel...You better consult your dermatologist before using such medicines/drugs/ointment.

Keratosis pilaris (chicken skin) is a harmless skin disorder that causes small, acne-like bumps. Although it isn't serious, keratosis pilaris can be frustrating because it's difficult to treat.

Waaah... Its very itchy! Don't know what to do. When night falls, nagstart na syang mag-itch. They say this chicken skin has no solution. But others tell that dry skin lang daw ito. Naglalagay na ako ng mga medical treatment lotions like canesten and etc. pero, i think, no effective. Itchy pa din. Huhuhu... Actually, nagkaroon ako nito when my father was confined in the hospital. I slept over in one of their beds and viola 3 days or 4 days after, meron na ako! Please! i need badly a big big help...

hi i used to have that on my upper arms (both) its really itchy and sobrang annoying imagine umaatake siya every night, akala ko buni of some sort yun pala skin asthma nung nag consult ako sa doctor namin then sabi niya gumamit ako ng physiogel or cortizan tapos after treating it under a strict compliance ayun nawala naman.

but now,i'm dealing with another case of chicken skin yun naman due to shaving, i'm shaving my legs kasi pero super dami ko naman inaapply na shaving cream before shaving and super lotion after shaving kaso its inevitable, sad to say i have those na naman. hmp! but its not itchy like yung sa upper arms ko. sabi ng friend ko its an infection sa hair follicle kasi parang my acne bump siya sabi niya try ko raw gumamit ng bactroban kasi yun yung ginamit niya for that (same case kasi kame) its effective daw pero hindi ko pa nagagamit kasi i'm not sure yet.
