I don't know what to say. I once talked to Mr. Querubin (nakalimutan ko kung tama ang spelling) and ang sabi nga niya na medyo bumaba na raw. According to him, halos blanko ang mga notebooks ng mga students now dahil they are relying too much sa powerpoint and other things.
Pero kahit na ganito na ang busko now, I still consider OUR school as one of the best. I remember noong first year ako sa DLSU, I had a friend who asked me kung bosconian ako kasi magpapaturo siya about sa electronics yata. I believe naman na Don Bosco produces the best students and it shows in their achievements.
Btw, may batch 2000 ba dito?![]()
First of all I'm from batch '96. Last batch ni Mr. Orlando Dauz; the batch probably known for the infamous incident during the 4th quarter of 1995-96, and the batch is also known for having the best streetballers (Nike 3 on 3)back then.
I hope that the school being a top-notch high school is now a low-notch school is not true.

^ Bro, ano ba yung incident na nangyari that time? Do you want to share it ba sa kabilang thread?
I'm from batch 2001. Totoo nga dumadami bading after our batch, masyado kasi soft kasi yung admin nung time namin.
And to the thread starter, your judgement based on observation is not absolute. In the first place, who are you to judge what makes decent essays? Do you have a profession in english or journalism? And remember, most essays are written ideas based on what you know on the topic. Ano bang topic nung essay? The latest thing DBTI taught me before I graduated is regarding Multiple Intelligences. One person might not be intelligent in writing or linguistics, but the person can be intelligent in sports, music, technical stuff (computers, mechanical... lahat na ng shops), and other things. You get my point? Kahit sabihin mo ang essay may madaling topic like "How can you contribute to the Philippine Economy in the future." Kung mapansin naman ng intelihenteng estudyante na napaka-nonsense or boring yung topic (unchallenged, or disinterested) malamang mamadaliin lang niya yung essay for the sake of submission or not pay attention to it all (Garbage In Garbage Out). You see, there are too many variables you need to consider.
^ talaga?
Nag-grade 1 and 2 ako sa DBTI from 1985-1987...
Miss ko na campus natin...
Talaga? 'Di ko alam 'yun ah. Ang freaky naman niyan. Hehehe.
^ Hehehe! I don't know kung sa batch ninyo e hawak pa niya. Hehehe!!! Bro, punta ka sa alumni homecoming ha?![]()
^ Yah! alam ko yun! haha
Nawawala daw yung libro ni Dominic Savio. Grade school yata ako that time.
^When's the homecoming? Shucks ang tanong may kakilala kaya ako? Hehe! Ano ang details? Time, date and venue please bro...![]()

Qualified kaya ako to join the homecoming?
I didn't graduate naman there eh. Hanggang Grade 2 lang ako... Meron kayang mga from Grade 2-Bonifacio ('86-'87) na pupunta?![]()
ahh... wala pa ba? siguro naging curse yun sa dbti kaya bumababa daw yung quality of education. Ninakaw kasi yung libro eh. hehe.![]()
