Coming from my friend who works there, May mga levels dito something like Associate -> Senior Associate -> Consultant -> Senior Consultant -> Managing Consultant - Senior Managing Consultant etc. Hanggang 13th month pero may project bonus ata? yan di ako sure, may benefits like medical, dental. When she started work there, she signed a 1 yr contract, 50000 ang bond.

    american company po ba ito?

... medical and dental(dependents are covered),
wedding bonus, baby bonus, meron daw OT pay. I think the compensation package varies depending on the position. Parang okay naman yung office culture, first name basis yung tawagan. Another thing is meron silang dress code, long sleeves or barong mon-thurs. I might consider working there after a few months.

man it varies, sa employment contract na binigay sakin meron OT pay, meal allowance and transpo allowance.

actually 2-3 yrs ago mas malaki ang headstrong, then some projects went wrong, nagpullout yung client and they retrenched... not sure about the numbers but i heard 200 or more...

so right now i know they are trying to build their reputation back... ang alam ko mas mataas sila magpasahod sa accenture pero yun nga hanggang 13th month lang... yung question lang is OT, i guess it depends on the project you will be getting into...

good for you man, congratulations! are you working there now? you're quite lucky, this is the first time i've heard of anyone receiving ot pay for hs regulars. siebel ka ba or sap? that might explain it.

nyek maliit *** lang ang sweldo dito. 4 figures lang and i mean maliit ***.. not much of a loss kung hindi ka makapasok dito..

  13. #33
4 figures? eh 4 years ago 5 figures na yung starting salary dyan... baka naman messenger ina-applyan mo

a lot of my old colleagues have gone back to headstrong, not that many companies kasi pay as well... accenture nga mas maliit pay compared to headstrong... accenture tried to lure some dba's, siebel guys, etc from hs before, nainis lang mga taga-hs... ang gulo gulo kausap ng mga taga accenture tapos ang baba lang pala ng i-offer

    Hello,

I worked with Headstrong for 4 years. Ok naman sa company na ito, the people are all very kind and magagaling. But I have already resigned because i found a better job at Singapore. If I compare Headstrong with other companies in the Phil, ok na sya, ganda kasi ng benefits. Pero if you compare it with companies abroad (like SG) syempre talong-talo sa salary, kaya umalis pa rin ako.

Anyway, as for the benefits, may Medicard ka plus your immediate family. If you're single, yung parents mo plus your siblings below 21 yrs old, covered ng Medicard. Then may optical benefits na P5K for 3 years. Then may rice subsidy / vacation allowance, which ever you prefer. Then may winter clothing allowance na P15K for 3 years if ever ma-assign abroad ka sa isang country na may winter season, pero dapat naassign ka during winter seasons. hehe. Then they give all their employees L1 visas, para madali kang ma-assign abroad.

They try to give bonuses every year. Then they also have salary adjustments every year. Sometimes, they also ask you to stay in a hotel kung kailangan mong ma-on call.

Malaki din ang per diem nila, if you're assigned abroad for a max of 3 months. For example, ma-assign ka sa US for not more than 3 mons, 63usd per day ang per diem mo. Malaki di ba?

They also offer a lot of trainings, kaya hndi magkakaproblema sa career growth mo.

As for salary naman, hindi naman 4 digits lang ang sweldo.

Headstrong has been so good to me, kaya medyo malungkot ako nung umalis. They even told me na pwedeng-pwede akong bumalik if ever ayaw ko na daw dito sa Sing Maliit lang kasi tlaga ang sweldo if you compare it to what you will receive working abroad eh, kaya eto nakipagsapalaran ako sa SG.

    Hope this helped you guys

And also, I'd like to add my experience working with AC. Naging client kasi ng Headstrong ang AC in one of their projects. Ibang klase ang culture sa AC.

Sa AC kasi, they get their clients because they tell them that they can finish a project for 6 months that their competitors will finish in 3 years. Tapos dahil sobrang agressive ang estimates nila, natural hindi mare-reach ang deadline so mag-slip sila ng another 6 months for example. Then pwede nilang sabihin pa rin sa clients na, we did it in 1 year, compared to 3 years from our competitors, so lalabas na ok pa rin sila di ba? Pero naman, within that 1 year, patay-patay naman ang mga employees nila.

When I was assigned to our AC proj, everyday halos OT ako. AC required us to work 10 hours a day. Ang tindi ng estimates nila, ibang klase. Their culture is more on deadlines rather than quality.

Nagrereklamo kami sa HS about the work in AC. Eh wala naman maitulong ang HS dahil wala naman silang say sa sched ng proj, what they can only give us is a small allowance for each hour that we worked overtime, na ok na rin naman for me. At least, kahit walang OT pay policy ang office, they still gave us an allowance, clearly showing that they still take care of us and appreciate our hard efforts.

By the way, wala na din daw OT pay sa AC ngayon eh.

with regards to hindi marunong mag-estimate, don't jump the gun. di lang naman lagi sa boss yun, madalas, meron pa pressure from above. kaya it's not as simple as it looks. when you get to that level, ull know what im getting at...

  18. #38
What's the contact details of Headstrong?

  19. #39

Akala ko headhunter or agency sila e.

wynema agree ako dyan sa sinasabi mo. I used to work with AC din, at least a month ago. True, you get to have a lot of OTs, but you can't often blame the manager kasi minsan the clients themselves push for project deliverables, especially when it's revenue impacting. So no choice ka but to deliver it. Meron din namang nangyayari na kelangan mong mag-OT due to certain outages, i.e. down ang environments, etc. Pero not all the time naman na kelangang mag-ot sa ACN. My last manager was in fact not encouraging her team to go on OT unless it's absolutely needed.

On the other side of the coin, meron din namang mga managers or TLs na bobo mag-estimate and in fact, they don't even know what they are doing or they don't know a thing about programming. Mahirap kasi pag ang manager mo eh hindi IT at ang project na hinahandle niya eh IT. All they see is what's on their level and when it comes down to the nitty-gritty (the details), eh bulag sila. More often than not, it's their subordinates who make them look good, and not of their own merit. I've had my fair share of those kinds of people, and minsan talaga I wanted to throttle them!

Also, totoo na for the past few years mababa ang increases, and for the longest time wala nang OT pay. I think 5 years ago pa atang wala eh, someone correct if Im wrong though. Pero the last increase I got was substantially higher than the last year, so pwede na rin. But it could have been better. Slowly naman the packages have improved, pero I still resigned from the company to pursue a career here in Singapore. Been here for less than a month pa lang, and so far I'm loving it (parang commercial yun ah hehehe). The pay is very good, although medyo malungkot kasi wala akong loved ones dito hehehe.

Nagapply pala ako sa HS a couple of months ago. Naghahanap sila ng consultants for CMM stuff. I had one interview sa kanila and it went well naman. Tumawag sila ulet nung paalis na ako for Singapore. Thanks for the interview na lang hehehe
