hi there..

nakakatuwa mga posts ng mga mommies ..

share ko saken nung mag give birth ako sa baby ko last oct. 5 2008.. first time mommy din ako kaya mixed emotions.. masaya na kinakabahan..

oct 3 friday.. 7am in the mrning pagpunta ko sa banyo meron na ko red spots.. since ako *** mag isa sa bahay kc mama ko maagang nasa tindhan which is malau ng konti sa haus namen.. relax lang ako.. i took a shower then konting ayos tapos punta ko sa store namen.. cnb ko sa mama ko na dinugo na nga ko.. so si mama relax lang din.. sabi nya saken wala pa daw un kc nakakalakad pa daw ako..

4pm mejo sumasakit na *** tyan ko pero malau pa intervals nya.. pinunthan ako nung midwife na frend ng mama ko.. sabi nga nya malau pa daw un.. btw midwife na un ang magpapaanak sana saken coz my mom insist na sa haus na lang me manganak..

so dumating *** gabi.. di ako nakatulog ng maayos kc nga sumasakit sya.. e ako maarte pa nmn ako pagdating sa mga gnon konting sakit daing na agad.. pag dating ng 10 am ng oct. 4 in i.e. na ko ni midwife.. wala pa daw kc 1cm.. ask pa ko kung bkit? kc nga ang sakit na.. lumipas *** day na palakad lakad ako.. then nung 6pm ayun nag ie ulit sya 5 cm na.. so iniisip ko malapit na sya..

sabi ko sa sarili ko sana dumating na hubby ko para nmn me kadamay ako.. kc panay panay na sakit.. dumating 9pm anjan na hubby ko me pasalubong pa sya na jolibee.. by that time 5cm pa rin ako.. sa isip isip ko my god nmn bkit ang tagal.. so concentrate ako.. eto namang mama ko pinakain ako ng itlog na hndi luto.. umiiyak na ko kc ayoko talaga.. pero since sabi nya para lumabas daw agad *** baby gnwa ko pa rin.. dedma na lang sa lasa.. grrrr..

ang nakakainis pa.. habang sumasakit ang tyan ko sa labor.. etong hubby ko maya't maya ang tanong kung ok ako.. e naiinis na ko sa ka2tanong nya kaya cnigwan ko na sya ..

11pm.. grabe di pa rin nagbabago.. awang awa na hubby ko kaya pinilit nya sa nanay ko dalhin na ko sa hospital.. parang takot na rin *** midwife saken kaya sinuggest nya na sa hospital na rin.. so labas mama ko hanap sya ng sasakyan.. ako namn nagbibihis..

habang nasa car kami.. every 10 mins. na contractions.. then naging evry 5 mins.. grabeng sakit.. parang feeling ko lalabas na *** baby..

at the hospital.. mejo naging ok na pkiramdam ko.. then i.e. ulit 8 cm na ko.. waaaa.. this is it na talaga! *** hubby ko di ko matawag kc bc sa pag pill up ng mga forms pati sya di magkandaugaga.. haha.. cnalang na ko sa labor room.. pinutok ng nurse water bag ko.. darn it! grabeng sakit ng contractions.. as in.. after 5 mins or so.. nasa operating rum na ko..

eto na.. push.. my god bkit d ako mrunong umire.. e me papractice practice pa ko tapos d ko mailabas baby ko.. labas pasok *** ulo nya.. my god! mejo badtrip na rin *** midwife na nagaassist.. mejo iyak na ko talaga.. pero tinary ko pa rin mag push.. ayaw ****.. then ayun c dra. to the rescue.. she help pushd the baby..

finally.. lumabas na din sya..4 am ng oct. 5.. 6.17 lbs.. imagine 2 cuts ang ginawa saken.. kaya ang dami ko cgurong tahi... at natawa ko sa ulo nya.. korteng egg ****.. hahaha.. bad mommy.. pero nung narinig ko na sya umiiyak at itinabi saken..hay he's so cute and tiny.. it's all worth it..

super ginhawa nung feeling nung nakalabas na sya.. wala me aneasthesia kaya i really feel the pain.. gusto ko kc maranasan normal..

9 months na ***** c joshua miguel.. at super likot..

hi mga mommies wanna share my experience din...

im a first time mom so i dunno what to expect din...medu may overview ako sa mga kwento ng mga friends ko and relatives..and of course nagbabasa din me thru www/net for more infos...

medu high risk pregnancy ako nun coz medu mataas bp ko...so may possibility na ma cs ako once na pag naglabor ako eh bigla tumaas bp, but then may OB told na wag ko iisipin na ma ccs ako para di ako kabahan...so iniisip ko lang na kaya ko ang vaginal delivery...and c hubby ko din pinapalakas loob ko lagi...hehehe...

it was Dec 31, 2008 at 4 in the morning nung pumunta ako ng cr para umihi and napansin kong may dugo na sa ihi ko...pero wala nmn sa undies ko...so inisip ko bagong labas lang blood...kinalma ko sarili ko and ginising ko hubby ko and sya ang nataranta...bitbit ang nakahanda ko ng hospital bag...dumirecho na kami sa hosp...wala nmn ako nararamdaman na masakit pa nun...pagdating ng hosp...IE ako ng doc and told me na matagal ba pero admit nako kc nga medu madami ng blood...i was transferred to labour room na,,kasama hubby ko dumating na rin mom ko, from 4am to 12pm la pako nararamdaman, i can still manage to smile and nakikipagkwentuhan pako..its a good sign kc stable ang bp ko nun...and to tell u the truth pala...may fear ako sa panganganak...iniisip ko nalang nun na its time to conquer my fear...at 1pm dumating OB ko to check me up...sabi nya matagal pa but then tinurukan nako ng pampahilab...niloloko ko pa nga nun ob ko...sabi ko pa nga" doc what if di pako nanganganak mamyang gabi, iiwan moko? "...coz that was new year's eve, i know gusto din ni doc makasama family niya that time...sabi nmn nya..." i'll stay here, hanggat dika nanganganak e dito lang ako, we'll spend new years eve together"..thank god mabait OB ko...

at 3PM...sunod sunod na hilab ng tyan ko...well, sa totoo lang masakit talaga, at 4PM, anjan na uli OB ko para i check..and nagulat siya na anjan na yung ulo ng baby...rushed nila ako sa delivery room...nahirapan ako sa pag ire, request ko kay doc na papasukin mom ko sa delivery room, pumayag nmn siya kc naka private doctor nmn ako...tas nagkataon na consultant dun sa hosp OB ko kaya ayun pinapasok mom ko...pagkapasok ni mom at pagkahawak niya sakin...umire ako ng malakas kumapit ako sa kanya and yun lumabas na baby ko at 5:15 PM...ewan ko pero sa mom ko ako humugot ng lakas..thanks mom...

nawala lahat ng sakit pagkalabas ng baby ko...she's 2.7K,,,

dami ko dapat ipagpasalamat...
- sandali lang yung labour ko..mga 3 hours lang
-naging stable ang baby ko.
-na conquer ko fear ko
-lumabas c baby in normal delivery,,,,

that was the happiest new years eve for the whole family...first apo kc siya,,,now baby samantha is 6 months na, super healthy sa awa ng diyos...nag aaral na siya mag crawl....

so sa mga first time moms wag kakabahan,,,kayang kaya...and iba yung feeling pag nakita nyo na baby nyo...

Here's my experience.

1. When and where did labor hit you?

I went in labor on my due date, July 31,2010 at 5PM-ish. Since the night before, I was feeling fleeting jabs around my back. The feeling intensified in spaced intervals, lasting for as short as a few seconds to 3 minutes but even then I didn't think I was experiencing 'actual' contractions. My partner, on the other hand, was starting to get worried. He was offering to call my doctor but I assured him I was fine and just needed to walk it out. So I walked around the house, the yard, eventually got tired and took a nap. He stepped out the house to run a few errands when I woke up with this odd feeling of wanting to pee and poop. As soon as I sat down on the toilet bowl, I got this urge to push. Then the contractions happened and I felt the pain and man, I really thought I was going to pass out from the intensity of it. And still I was feeling this urge to push. I was thinking, Oh no! My baby might fall into the toilet bowl! So I mustered my strength to sit up and when I was about to step out the bathroom, I felt something gush out between my legs. My water just broke. Funny thing was, I calmly got dressed before I called my partner to tell him it was time.

2. how did you know it was real labor?
Aside from being really painful, it was telling my body that it's time to push the baby out.

3. when and how did you go to the hospital?
Since my partner was not home yet, he had called my sister in law who was at the house that time to bring me to the hospital. But as we were about to leave, he arrived at the house and eventually came along with us.

4. other specifics about birth you would like to share
I was alread 6cm dialated when I got to the hospital and 8 cm when I couldn't stand the pain anymore and asked to get the epidural. We waited for 8 hours before my OB decided to do a CS since my baby's heartrate activity was showing distress already. True enough, she was caught around her umbilical cord which was wrapped around her leg and body. She was born at 2.22AM at St.Lukes Global on Aug.1 =)

My expected due date was March 31. On march 28, I woke up earling morning having stomach cramps same thing like menstrual cramps. i rushed to the bathroom and noticed a blood on my undies. I called my mom right away then she advised me to call the hospital. so i called, the nurse explained that if the contractions comes in a 5 minutes apart then it would be reasonable to be admitted. but the contractions was not that bad.

2. how did you know it was real labor?
well, because i saw blood in my undies and the contractions were coming in very often..like 5 minutes apart.

3. when and how did you go to the hospital?
continuing my story..after talking to the nurse, i waited another 2 hrs to see how was my contractions. then i noticed that it's been coming very often..my bf rushed me to the hospital right away.


4. other specifics about birth you would like to share
i was admitted around 10:30 am the the OB told me my cervix dilated to 7.5 cm already..and happily told us that im gonna have the baby that day.

My cervix was 9 cm dilated by the last time I was checked by the midwife and my “bag of water” did not break yet. She inserted a plastic stick to pop that bag inside of me. A few seconds later, the blood came rushing out and soaked the white linen hospital sheets. No longer did I feel like I had control over my body. I felt that the baby really wanted to come out. I was told not to push and to wait for further instructions but I screamed out loud telling them that I couldn’t hold any longer. I lost my control and started pushing. My boyfriend held one of my leg while a nurse held the other. Distant cries of "Push! Push!" surrounded me as I obeyed and clenched my sides with my fingers numb to any pain that came from it. I bear down with all of my strength every time I was pushing. Each push seemed to suck all the oxygen out of me while the room looked spinning. I didn't have anymore time to think about how to raise him, to breastfeed or bottle feed, to change the nursery color or how to tell him how silly little girls will be sometimes. The hospital staff hustled and bustled around the tiny room, prepping, cleaning, and talking in their white uniforms like something out of a movie. Breathing harder and harder each time, I wished I had bigger lungs.

After a few minutes of well deserved discomfort from pushing, a blinding pain ridden finality of this journey I heard "He’s out!" I welcomed a 6.3 pound, unfolded out to be 20 inch baby boy to the world. His first cry of life filled the room. It was amazing how you feel both exhausted and exhilarated. Moments later, a baby boy wrapped in a blue blanket arrived in my arms. His face scrunched, his fingers curled and purple, his head abundant with matted, curly hair and he looked like he favored my lips.

thinking that 20 years ago, my mom had the same experience. it was the "bestest" birthday present--having Nathan

we're planning on baby #2 right now..for sure im getting epidural. i dont know if i can still take the pain..

hello, share ko lang. i gave birth last year. i dont exactly know the term pero parang di ko na-feel yung sinasabi nila na " tatawagin mo lahat ng santo" pag nag-le-labor ka na". why? kasi di ko nararamdaman na nagko-contract na pala ako. pero 3 days akong nagbbleed. then check-up 1cm pa rin kada check up. tapos lakad-lakad ako para bumaba nga. then hanggang patuloy pa rin pag-bleed ko, i was adviced by my OB na punta na nga ng hospital. so eto na hospital na, monitor na, yun pala contraction na pala tawag dun kasi panay na ang tigas/hilab ng tyan ko (i wasnt aware since it was my first time). funny thing is di ako nakakaramdam ng sakit (sabi ng doctor ko mataas yung endurance ko sa pain). i(i dont know if that time i was just tensed, kaya di ako nakakaramdam ng sakit) hanggang sa dinala na ako sa labor room, sinaksakan na ako ng pampahilab, then ayun every 5 minutes nararamdaman ko na yung hilab, masakit sya but not to the extent na sumisigaw ako sa sakit. what i did is pag humihilab sya, pag sumasakit, tumatagilid lang ako. there was a rosary in my hand, praying. tahimik lang ako, ni hinde ako nagrereklamo na masakit pag humihilab. pag pumapsok lang si hubby sa room, dun ako umiiyak kasi syempre parang paranoid na ako, feeling ko me mangyayari saken masama hehe..(sabi nga ng ob ko, nice, bait ko daw kasi di ako maingay) hehehe... ang nabbwisit lang ako pag IE, dun ako nakakaramdam ng sakit, gusto ko na syang sipain pag i- IE nya ako, kasi mas dun ako nakakaramdam ng sakit sabay sabayan pa ng hilab ng tyan. hanggang 5 cm lang ata ko then nag decide na OB ko na CS kasi nagba-bounce back yung head ng baby ko.

sa operating room, sinaksakan ako ng anesthesia, (sabi nila masakit din daw yun kasi sa spine isasaksak) so ako naman inaanticipate ko na yung pain, di naman pala. (or dahil lang talagang tensed ako kaya di ako makaramdam ng sakit.)

after ko manganak, sabi ng OB ko sinaksakan daw ako ng pampatulog para makapagpahinga ako, so 3 hours daw akong tulog. eh hinde naman ako nakatulog...hahaha..ewan ko ba baket ganun...

now, 8 months old na baby ko. and sobrang happy. worth it talaga... thank u LORD!

- 5 days before my due date, pumutok na panubigan ko around 2am in the morning. I was at home sleeping in my room.

2. how did you know it was really labour?
- When my waterbag broke saka napaihi ako ng madami ng hindi ko mapigilan, nagstart na yung cramps below my navel. Nicheck ko yung panty ko, may dugo na.

3. when and how did you go to the hospital?
- The same day, 6 hours (8:35am) after my waterbag broke, dinala ako ng kapatid ko sa ospital

4. other specifics about birth you would like to share,
like did you have anesthesia, how long was labour, anything funny happened during the mad rush, etc
- I was pretty scared and excited at the same time. Pagdating sa ospital, inadmit na ako sa emergency room tapos sinaksakan ako ng IV. It hurted at first pero tolerable naman after a few minutes. After signing papers, dinala nila ako sa delivery room for fetal and labor monitoring. Ayun, nagsimula na ang slight contractions around 9am. Inis na inis ako nun kasi may isang nurse pa na iniinterview ako regarding breastfeeding, medical history, etc. habang naglelabor nako. Bale mga 7 nurses yung nakabantay at nakamonitor sakin, dami tumitingin pag nakabukaka ako for IE. 2-3cm dilated daw ako. Hirap talaga ako during contraction periods, sobrang sakit then the nurse on my left kept telling me na sabihin ko daw sa kanya kung hindi ko na daw kaya ang sakit bibigyan nya ako ng pain reliever. Sabi ko KAYA KO PA! Kinaya ko for another 2 hours yung paghilab ng tiyan ko pero kahit na ayaw ko, binigyan na ako ng nurse ng pain reliever ordered by my attending OB. Pinipilit ko maging normal yung pagdeliver ko pero nung umabot na ng 6pm ay 3cm pa rin yung cervix ko, nagdecide na yung OB ko na kelangan na ng emergency CS kasi more than 16 hours nako naglabor at baka magkaroon na ng infection si baby dahil ubos na yung tubig ko. Pumayag naman yung hubby ko. Pati sa operating room habang shineshave nila ko, humihilab pa rin yung tiyan ko. Naihi tuloy ako sa operating table tapos yung isang nurse na dumaan muntik nang nadulas. Nung dumating yung anesthesiologist, inexplain nya sakin yung procedure. Wag daw ako matakot dahil wala daw akong mararamdaman during the operation. Bigla akong tinurukan ng pampatulog sa braso ko tapos pinatagilid nila ako at may tinurukan yung anesthesiologist sa likod ko ng dalawang beses, isa sa may thoracic spine tapos isa sa may lumbosacral spine. Naramdaman ko na lang na parang may electric sensation sa great toes ko tapos kasunod nun pinahiga na ko. Nawala na yung sensation ko from waist down then everything went blank (tulog ako).
Nagising na lang ako nung naramdaman ko na dinaganan ako ng anesthesiologist sa lower ribs ko. Nakasuot na pala ako ng oxygen mask at may screen pa sa harap ko kaya hindi ko makita kung ano ginagawa nila sa tiyan ko. Nakatali din yung magkabilang kamay ko on sides, I guess it's a standard procedure to tie up both upper limbs para hindi magalaw yung area na inooperahan unconsciously. Feel ko parang nilalagare ako sa tiyan pero wala, as in painless talaga. Naka idlip ulit ako sandali pero bitin kasi biglang may humawak sa face ko kaya dumilat ako agad tapos nasa harap ko yung mukha ng anesthesiologist, sabi nya "Ma'am, tapos na."

Pinakita sakin ng nurse yung baby girl ko, ang puti nya at ang ganda. Kamukha sya ng hubby ko. She was 5.9 lbs, 47 cm when she came out of my womb. Tinanong ko yung nurse kung kumpleto ba mga daliri sa paa at kamay ng baby ko, natawa at tumango lang yung nurse. Bigla ba naman ako binentahan ng mga hikaw kasi bubutasin daw nila yung tenga ng baby ko. Sabi ko, pakikausapin si mom magaling kasi sya pumili.


Sa ngayon mag 4 months old na baby girl ko sa katapusan nitong Abril.

Masakit talaga. mas masakit mag labor huhuhu iyak talaga ako sa asawa ko sorry naman sya saken hehehe
nanganak ako last 09/04,2days before my duedate 08/31/11 nagkaroon na ako na sinisabi na bloody show so pumunta na kami hospital my god ie ba naman ang sakit talaga at 2cm palang daw. mag walking walking daw ako panu hindi ako pinapa walking ng asawa ko. then 09/02/11 its my duedate pumunta ulit kami OB ko kahit wala ako naramdaman gusto lang ng aswa ko makasigurado ayun ie ulit ako sabi ng OB ko after 5days saw na wala parin injectionan na daw ako para lumabas si baby. after 2days 09/04/11 saka lang ako nanganak overdue ako.nakaramdam ako ng sakit umaga 6am pero 30minutes interval. then bandang 2pm 20minutes interval. binabantayan ng asawa ko kasi ang time. kasi sabi ng OB ko 5-10minutes interval punta na ako hospital. then 4pm 15minutes interval na pumunta na kami hospital hindi na hinintay ng asawa ko 5-10minutes na sabi ng OB. then emergency room na ako 5pm ie na naman then may sinalpak sila sa hmmm ko para lumabas daw *** pooped ko ahhh shy...then 7:30pm delivery room na ako. don ko na naramdaman ang sakit ininjectionan ako para mabilis ang pag labas ni baby. sumuka pa ako nagalit asawa ko away nya nurse pati doctor ayaw nya ako iwan kasi kea nanganak ako na kasama ko asawa ko sa delivery room kahit bawal umiire ako pero mukha ko daw ang umiire hindi lumalabas si baby sabi ko naman panu kasi parang lalabas pooped ko pag umire ako kea sige ire lang para lang ako nag ccr hehehe nag ienjoy pa ako ng umiire ako ayuko lang pinupush at dinadaganan katawan ko masakit pero mabilis naman lumabas angel ko. 10:51pm 09/04/11 nanganak ako video pa ng asawa ko kea nakita ko sa video panu lumabas si baby at aswa ko rin ang nag cut ng pusod ni baby. hindi ko naramdaman ang pagtahi saken masakit lang pag pinupush nila abdominal ko sigaw ako ayun sigawan din ng asawa ko ang doctor. tapos na lumabas na asawa ko pati doctor usap sila. ako naman nanginginig sa sobrang lamig.12 in the midnight inilipat na ako sa room ko hindi ako makatulog pinapatay ko na ilaw ng room ko cr lang meron para makatulog.excited na ako sa baby ko. 4am na ako nakatulog at 09/05 may problema baby ko incubator kasi mabilis ang heartbeat ginawa naman ng asawa ko inilipat kami ng hospital best hospital in korea natakot kami sobra umiiyak na kami ayaw pa kami payagan ng hospital isipin daw yung gagastusin sa lilipatan namin na hospital wala pakialam asawa ko nakipag debate pa sya para lang mailipat namin si baby 10days sa ICU baby ko everyday ko pinupuntahan baby ko kahit masakit pa tahi ko sige lang makita ko lang baby ko 09/16 weding aniversarry namin at 9am tulog pa kami ng tumawag ang hospital lalabas na daw si baby ...

at ang nakakatawa pa. nag effort pa asawa ko sa kaka research ng hospital for woman at doon ako nag papa check up at nanganak kasi ayaw nya ng doctor na guy ang mag check up saken kea lagi girl doctor ko.pero ng manganganak na ako lalaki pala ang doctor hehehe
wala na sya nagawa hindi sya pwede mag demand ng girl na doctor tulad ng ginagawa nya pag nagpapacheck up ako sa pinas kasi lalabas na si baby...

-i didnt know i was in labor not until my OB told me im 8cm dilated. @_@

2. how did you know it was really labour?
-my mother-in-law told me once you are crying in pain, then you'll know that's it's a true labor.

3. when and how did you go to the hospital?
- same day after my checkup i came back with my things to get admitted, we took a cab to get there safely and faster.

4. other specifics about birth you would like to share:
-after admission i was brought to a room where they can conduct their procedures to prepare for my delivery (I.V. insertion, shaving lol, medicine administration (para daw bumaba *** bata)
-took me 3 hours to labor (false and true labor)
-i stayed 30mins inside delivery room before my baby was born


here's the story by the way ^^

It was on 25th of May i was told im already 2cm but my OB hoped not to deliver that early so baby and I have ample time to prepare coz im still not yet on full term. On 30th of May I came back to her to show my latest ultrasound and other lab exams, unfortunately i missed her sked so i decided to consult other OB at the same hosp. My OB was shocked that im 8cm already and yet im not showing any pain saying i have high tolerance to it, she had another patient earlier dilated only 3cm but already asking to be admitted because of labor pain. "mukang mauuna ka pa sa patient ko knna pero nagpaadmit na, if my calculation is right you'll be fully dilated by 5pm." anu daw 5pm? time check... 12nn! lol does it mean manganganak na ko? lol. 10am that morning i was in a parlor having my hair cut not knowing naglelabor na ko and 8cm dilated. ngpplan p nmn ako magpafoot spa ) minamanas na foot spa pa gusto!
anyway she instructed me to prepare my things and be admitted at that day which i did. so nakauwi pa *** ni mama peps (my mother-in-law) to get our things and asked her not to tell her son muna about manganganak na ako at baka magpanic. )
i called and texted my parents and brother to inform na i was on my way na to the hosp. my dad replied asking " d mo man lang naramdaman na manganganak ka na ngayon?" @_@ hahaha!
i was admitted 3:30pm, went to E.R., delivery prep was done then at 5pm i was transferred to my room where i waited and rested. Andyan na ang frequent urination w/ some discharges, inconsistent pain. i always update my OB kung ano nrramdaman ko, she instructed me na lakad-lakad *** bumaba pa. inoorasan ko ang pain - duration, interval etc. i was waiting for consistent and increasing pain kc sabi un na daw ang true labor. mama peps told me pag ang pain mo is umabot na sa point na umiiyak ka na, anak yun na un and we laughed about it pa. 6pm passed at ayan na ang pain, anak ng tinapa humiga na **** ako, una text text pa ko kay doc telling na im in pain na ****. aba at talagang sumakit pa d na text, tawag na ang ginagawa ko kay doc and i was crying na. literally Iyak-tawa ako sa labor ko, iyak dahil sa pain - tawa kasi naaalala ko sabi ni mama na pag umiyak ka na yun na un. anyway as i was trying to call the doctor, i asked mama to not let her son enter the room para d nya ako makita while in pain. then the doctor arrived and perform an IE. i was then transferred to DR, before the door closed mama peps kissed me and she's also crying na saying kaya ko daw un.
quarter to 7pm, nasa DR ako, ano gawa ko? ayun nag-ingay lang naman ako ) calling mommy and mama. calling God, all angels and saints. asking nurses and doctor to pray for me. kapit sa nurse at sa beside steel. i thanked my OB sa good instruction nya on how to breathe during contraction and relax. then i heard her told the nurse "baby out! 7:14pm" i heard her (baby) cry, "placenta out! 7:15pm" i open my eyes and ask them to let me see my baby and kissed her. my Ob sedated me and ask me to sleep. bangenge na ko pero ang dami ko pa tinatanong like "nurse, nakuha nyo na po things ni baby?" and i remember also asking my OB other things but i cant speak clearly tanda ko sagot nya... "Joanne, bukas na tayo magkwentuhan ha? matulog ka muna" )
Hindi ko na naramdaman pagpapalit ng hosp gown ko hanggang sa makalabas ng DR, ramdam ko nlng ng ililipat n ko ng bed and nakita ko meron smaller bed where my baby is lying and sleeping. and then plakda ulit ako. The next time i opened my eyes, i saw my husband arrived and he was surprised to see our little one and smiled came near me and kissed me then i smiled ^_^

I'm just a newbie here I have a 6 year old son and a one year old daughter... so here are some funny and memorable stories that happened when I gave birth to my kids...

1. when and where did labour hit you~~how did you know it was really labour?

We were at home, his dad was studying for his exam suddenly I felt something in my tummy prang mei pumutok and it's sticky. I thought was just going to pee so I did not mind it all. But the sticky thing kept on flowing so I called my mom and said "Ma, manganganak na ata ako." My mom said "tara punta na tayo sa hospital" I answered "ayaw ko ma, bka di pa naman ako manganganak, nakakahiya!" so my mom gave me 3 or 4 fresh eggs and one liter of water and she told me to eat and drink all of those. *ewwww* [but it was really helpful, nglabor lang ako for about 2 hours ^^ even sa 2nd baby ko]


2. when and how did you go to the hospital?
1st baby: We still own a car at that time, so we went to the hospital by car. Funny thing n nangyari *** mga nurses sa hospital akala nila wala ***... di ako preggy kasi I looked like a child at that time.
2nd baby: My OB's our HERO! siya ngdala sa akin sa hospital ^^

3. other specifics about birth you would like to share,
like did you have anesthesia, how long was labour, anything funny happened during the mad rush, etc
-actually iba po effect sa akin ng mga iniinject ng OB ko... ^_^
My OB said *** daw me sinasapian... Promise mommies iba talaga. I even bit the other doctor sa head [kalbo kc cia] and sa second baby ko there were like 7-8 nurses and all of them were males... kc takot na Ob ko baka mag-wala daw me ult so she called male nurses and she even tied me up. ^__^


For me, di masakit mnganak. it's more difficult pag nglilihi kc u can't eat the things that you used to like before. :S

I'm a newbie! Ever since i discovered that i am pregnant for the first time, i already accepted the fact that pain is part of the package, but i learned that nothing could prepare me from the actual labor pain.

My water broke at 3 in the morning and i labored and labored and labored until past 10 in the evening. It was the longest day of my life. At 7 in the evening i was still at 4cm and the OB started to induce me. I think the pain just doubled, if that was possible. I keep punching the concrete wall of the labor room to keep myself from cursing and shouting. I labored all alone, because the hospital was so strict to allow other people in the room. I labored without my husband by my side (he's a seafarer). The doctors mentioned CS but i fought for normal delivery because the stubborn part of me couldn't take the fact that I've been suffering pain all day just to be told later that I was to deliver by CS. I asked my OB to give me a little time and just bring in the oxygen tank so I could breathe better. She did and 8cm, I gave birth to a bouncing baby boy by normal delivery.

Nalaman ko lang na manganganak na ako nung pasakit na siya ng pasakit. I had no epidural nor CS. Sobrang sakit!! Pero kinaya ko kasi baka ma-short kami ng budget ng husband ko so thank God kinaya ko naman.

ako naman bandang hapon ng sept.12 medyo sumasakit na tiyan ko but i ignored it kasi baka bhc lang sya pero medyo napansin ko din na malapit yung time na contractions. lumabas pa kami ni hubby to buy groceries kaya wala pa sa isip ko na nagsisimula na pala akong mag-labor.
bandang 2:45am of sept.13 hindi na o makatulog kasi yung contractions medyo dumadalas na. ayun, at exact 3am my water broke. nakakatawa pa nga kasi may narinig ako sa loob ng tiyan ko ng "plok" hindi ko malaman kung ano ba yung nangyari na yun. pumunta pa ako ng cr to pee then konti lang inihi ko. and when i get back sa bed, saktong paghiga ko biglang buhos talaga yung water.
ginising ko agad si mister then nilakad na namin papunta hospital. (yup! walking distance lang yung hospital from our house.)
eto na, simula nung may itinusok na yung nurse sa bumbum ko para mag-poo ako nagsimula na din yung masasakit na hilab. buti na lang sa panahon na nagla-labor ako kasama ko si mister at sya yung pinaglalambitinan ko kapag humihilab tiyan ko.
from 3am to 2pm hanggang 5cm lang ako nag-dilate kaya kinausap na kami na i-cs na lang ako kasi malaki rin ang baby. so pumayag na si mister kasi di na daw nya matiis yung hirap ko na nakikita nya
sakto 2:52pm inilabas na si andrei. 54cm and 4kg. sya pinakamalaking baby sa nursery. ngayon 20days na sya!

i'm a first time mom and i love all the things na nangyayari lalo na at nandito na ang baby ko. God is really good.

Hmm share din ako ng exp. Pauwi na ako ng school, bus ang sinasakyan ko.. Wala nmn akong naramdaman sa bus pero sobrang naiihi na ako, may lumabas ng onti habang nasa bus pa ako, tapos sa sm na lang ako nag cr, pag kita ko sa panty ko merong parang sipon, sabi ko sa sarili ko, eto na ba un? pero wala nmn akong nrrmdaman eh. Umuwi ako nun, sinbi ko sa mommy ko, 11pm mejo sumskt na, tapos paskit n g pasakit.. bandang 1 nasa ospital na kami. sakit ng labor pero saglit *** ako nun, pagpunta ng ospital mga 1 hour pa ako naghintay at tiniis ang sakit after nun pinapunta na ako sa delivery room, aun masakit kinakalikot *** ano ko haha tapos nung mejo malapit na daw ininjectionan *** ano ko, aw! un ire lang ng ire, tinuturuan pa nga ako umire e kasi d ako marunong haha. after nun tinahi na syaa! may anestesia pero mejo ramdam ko pa din. mabilis *** ako nangnak kasi maliit *** baby ko pero healthy nmn at wala sakit. 7 months ko kc nlmn na buntis ako. eh kung anung pinagkakaen ko nun eh, kung alam ko *** pinaghandaan ko sana. after manganak pinatulog ako, pero hindi nmn ako makatulog. tapos *** tahi ko ang sakit!! di ako binigyan ng gamot, nakalimutan ata, hirap kong maglakad nun. ayun
