[MERGED] Diarrhea

Pagkagising ko kaninang umaga, naramdaman ko na parang masakit yung butt ko, yung pain niya parang dysmenorrhea sa butt, kaya akala ko symptom yun na magkakamenstruation na ako. Pero yun pala may diarrhea ako pero walang stomach/abdominal pain akong nararamdaman. Bakit ganun?

It could be that you have proctitis, meaning mas affected yung anus and rectum mo more than your colon and small intestines.

I just came back from Phils and since I've been back I've been having diarrhea. 2 weeks na! The first doc said to eat simple foods muna. His advice seemed to work but then after a while bumalik uli ang diarrhea. The 2nd doctor wants a stool sample. I got the sample and I placed it in the container but bukas pa ako makakapunta. My friend said dapat fresh daw sample. My mom says if we store it sa fridge (air-tight container-don't know if that makes a difference) ok lang for tomorrow. Who's right? Basta ayaw ko na mag-collect ng sample

My wife has been having watery stools since around 3pm yesterday. Since then hanggang nakatulog siya, around 10pm, naka-7 or 8 times na siyang nag-LBM.

Tapos around 2am kanina, nakagisingan ko siya na nagshi-shiver at nagdidiliryo. Kung ano-ano ang sinasabi (wag daw ako umalis kasi magluluto siya ng kalamay at nasaan daw yung punctuation mark -- yeah I know nakakatawa ngayon pero nakakatakot habang nangyayari). Chineck ko yung temp niya, may lagnat pero di naman masyado mataas, 38.7 lang. So pinag-Biogesic ko siya at Oresol.

Ngayon naman okey na siya. Medyo naghihina pero wala nang lagnat. Should I be concerned? Dapat pa ba siyang patingin sa doktor?

baket ganon pag umiinom ako ng gatas nagkaka diarrhea ako? at pag kumakain ng maaanghang? dati naman kaya ko maaanghang... pero ngayon lang na adik ako sa curry hehehehehe. tapos yung pag nag toilet ako mahapdi depende sa gaano kaanghang nakain ko.... magiging almuranas ba yan? sabi ng erpats ko na may almuranas din ganon daw experience nya so baka magkaroon din ako. help!

^^ you might have lactose intolerance, that's why you experience diarrhea after intake of milk or other milk products. Do you experience diarrhea and constipation after having a spicy meal, or just diarrhea? You can seek a gastroenterologist just to be sure that your symptom is not anything serious.

it has been really hot this summer (100+ degrees F)
i have been having upset stomach (wet stool) often.

sometimes, i can last days, sometimes just a day or two.
any advice, tips , etc what could be causing this?
could heat be whats causing my upset stomach?

According to UNICEF, aside sa pneumonia, diarrhea is one of the leading causes of death for young children...this news is just recent. that's why extra careful talaga dapat ngayon ang mga mommies, lalo na at tag-ulan. Ako first sign pa lang ng pag diarrhea pianpainom ko kaagad ng gamot anak ko eh. Mga sort of first aid lang naman kesa mag pa doctor agad eh ang mahal. I recommend Imodium kasi pwede siya sa bata, OTC drug din siya. Imodium A-D Liquid pinapa take ko, pwede siya for 6-11 years old na kids.

Thanks for this MomTrish, Pwede kaya yang Imodium A-D sa 4 year old daughter ko? Mag 5 na naman siay eh, hehehe. Di naman siya nag dadiarrhea ngayon pero sirain kasi tiyan ng baby ko, super sensitive.Siguro ask na rin ako ng doctor or pharmacist to be sure. Thanks sa idea.

Since we're talking about Imodium here, na try niyo na ba uminom ng Imodium then kain din kayo ng banana or apple, effective sya in fairness. Hehehe. By the way, check niyo rin Facebook page nila, marami tips and trivia about diarrhea taht can help you guys. =)

sabe dapat daw first sign palang ng diarrhea, inom ka na kagad ng 2 capsules of IMODIUM. Tapos 1 capsule after everytime you go to the bathroom. Pero magaling IMODIUM kasi in 30 minutes to 1 hour daw, it already works to provide relief from diarrhea

in any case naman daw, lagi sinasabi ng nanay ko inuman agad ng imodium. kahit mild lang *** diarrhea, it’s still best to drink Imodium kasi daw it gently restores the digestive rhythm. oha pwedeng endorser diba? ayan basta imodium lang ako agad basta may lbm/diarrhea!

effective nga yang imodium, tried and tested ko na yan. pero reminder lang guys ha, Imodium is not for children below 12 years old and for pregnant women, doctor pa rin ang unang puntahan agad pag sa mga taong yan ang may lbm!

Not all types of diarrhea can be treated with Loperamide.
